What To Expect

Begin your Hollywood cycling adventure by getting outfitted with a bike. You'll start your 12-mile (19-kilometer) adventure along Hollywood’s bustling streets. Over the course of your ride, you’ll pedal past some of the most famous Hollywood landmarks, along with some lesser-known sites that will add to your appreciation of this star-studded area. Cycle along the hip retail stores lining trendy Melrose Avenue, and take a break at the Original Farmer’s Market and The Grove, where you’ll have time to step off your bike for a walking break.

Continue past L.A.’s modern art museum LACMA and the nearby La Brea Tar Pits, then admire the imposing front gate to Paramount Studios. Your cycle adventure will continue with a trip through the historic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, pass by CBS Television City, and explore the Dolby Theater (home of the Oscars) and Grauman’s Chinese Theater. You’ll return to your original starting point at the end of the ride.

An absolute MUST! My husband and two daughters (age 9 and 11) had an absolute blast on this tour. I am the bike enthusiast in our house but everyone had smiles for days after our tour with Sarah. I would recommend renting the e-bike even if you are an avid cyclist. The tour is 2 hours and we covered 14 miles which is a pretty good ride no matter who is cycling. The e-bike gives you just that extra assist should you need it but you can turn it off and ride old school and burn those calories. Go for the e-bike no matter what - it’s worth it. My 9 year old daughter was reluctant to cycle that day but the friendly and helpful staff had her sorted in moments and she rode safely on a tandem bike with dad. Such a great solution! We rode through quiet neighborhoods and side streets, popped into the iconic Farmed’s Market for a quick coffee and even had a peaceful and reflective ride through the Hollywood cemetery. You can see so much more on a bike. My husband and I laughed all the way down Hollywood Blvd. because we just couldn’t believe we were riding bikes down such an iconic street while Salt N’Peppa were getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!!! A pinch me moment for sure. I would 100% recommend this tour. Thanks to Sarah and all the friendly and all the staff at LA Bikes and Hikes.

Excellent! Our tour guide Eric was super nice, knowledgeable, and made us feel very safe in LA traffic. I'm from SF so we're used to biking everywhere here. LA was much harder to navigate due to car traffic but Eric made it so easy and safe. We saw so much in 3-4 hours! LACMA, La Brea tar pits, Larchmont, Hancock Park, the Grove, Original Farmer's market, Hollywood Forever cemetery, Hollywood Walk of Fame, West Hollywood. Definitely wear sunscreen lol. Great time and highly recommend.
