We had a wonderful day! Laura was very knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. She gave us such great info. Antonio was very charming and had a lot to tell us. We had a great group and I would recommend this tour for all wine lovers! We learned a lot a had a lot of fun!

Wonderful wines

Wonderful day out - Laura was so knowledgeable about the history of wines and the area, as well as Antonio’s wines which were delicious. We were lucky enough to be with great company in our small group and had a lot of fun, food and of course … wine! Loved it and would highly recommend.

Wine tour

Really interesting tour to a small local producer of some nice wines. Excellent guide in Rodrigo who went the extra mile given his wife was 9 months pregnant! Lunch at the winery well hosted with six wines and some tapas tasted over lunch. Nice company with the Swedish and Boston crowd. Thoroughly enjoyable five hours.

Most Unique Wine Tasting!

This was probably the most unique wine tasting we have ever encountered. Our group of 8 plus our guide, Laura, went out into the countryside to visit the quaint home of the vintner and taste our first wine. It was a beautiful setting where we learned so much about the process of making organic wine. We then went to the place where the wines are processed and bottled to have tapas and a very extensive tasting, led by the vintner himself. Don’t miss this great opportunity!

Absolutely amazing tour. Laura was very knowledgeable, informative, and a great guide. Loved meeting Antonio and enjoyed both his vineyard as well as the tastings and Appetizers at his Winery. We give this tour 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. Cruise guests should not worry as they will get you back on tone 😀

This was an amazing trip with Paulo. He was so much fun and so knowledgeable about wine and about the history of Malaga . When he didn’t know an answer, he would ask and get it! We saw the amazing vineyard and then went on to taste 6 wines in total. Good sized glasses too. Paulo’s wider recommendations were great too. I visited Las Palermas today and it was amazing! Would 100% recommend this trip :)

Highlight of my trip!

This was the highlight of our trip! We went as a couple there were two other couples on the trip. Overall we loved the experience. Our guide Laura was amazing as was the charming Argentinian gentleman assisting her (really sorry but I forgot his name). She went through the long history of Malaga as well as explaining how Antonio set up his business and the wine industry in Spain. We had a generous sample of rose, white and red wines along with a selection of tapas and snacks. After drinking some wine all we got very chatty which made the experience even better. Would recommend to people who like wine and interesting in learning more about how it is made. It was much more relaxed and chilled than my previous trip to a vineyard in France.

Traveling out of Málaga, Rodrigo, our guide, gave us an informative history of the area. The drive up to the vineyard included some breathtaking scenery. The experience at the vineyard itself (also including great scenery) was so interesting as Rodrigo taught us about viticultural processes. Then the drive to the tasting room in the pretty "white village" of Álora. We got to taste six wines (with tapas) and Rodrigo was so helpful in guiding us through the tasting. What a lovely day!

Fun and Informative Visit to Small Local Vineyard and Winery

Laura was the guide for our small group (3 couples, or 6 total) and was very engaging and informative. Despite being on several wine tours before, I learned new things about the history, rules, and process of making wine in general and Spanish wine in particular. The tasting itself was very well planned to highlight the wines of the Malaga region and featured generous portions of the wine with plenty of accompanying tapas. All of the wines are available to purchase at the winery and are very reasonably priced. All this was packed into a half day tour, leaving plenty of opportunity to siesta and explore the city.

Laura our guide was so informative and had a wealth of knowledge of Malaga history, vineyard and the types that are grown here, the wine production process and a very detailed run through of each wine for sampling along with providing a delicious selection of tapas. Was an enjoyable experience and would recommend!

What a day: a very competent guide, beautiful weather, and a delightful day learning about organic wine making. The wine tasting lunch was spectacular, the best ever for me. Full pours and a guided explantion of the histor and development of each wine. If have the time and enjoy wine, do not miss this oppotunity.
