The Ducal Palace is vast and it was well worth having a guide as knowledgeable as Tiziana. She was excellent, explaining about the Gonzaga dynasty and the life of those in the palace. Highly recommended and extremely good value for money!

The tour was exceptional due to the expertise and consideration of the professional, personal guide, Tiziana Portioli. If considering this tour, ask for her. She is worth every Euro/Dollar. Prepare to walk and I would suggest purchasing a guide of the Residence from Amazon and read it before the tour. It will assist your understanding and appreciation of the magnificent frescos.

Abbiamo avuto l'onore di visitare il Palazzo Ducale di Mantova. Con la presenza della guida turistica, Tiziana Portioli, ci siamo ritrovati ,come in una favola, indietro nel tempo a casa dei Gonzaga. Ci sono stati svelati ,attraverso particolareggiate spiegazioni delle diverse opere d'Arte presenti nel Palazzo, la Storia e la Cultura di un inestimabile momento storico del nostro Bel Paese. Visitare almeno una volta dal vivo Palazzo Ducale, per capire a pieno l'importanza delle sue bellezze; e dell'obbligo di farle conoscere e proteggere sempre di più.

Grazie Gentilissimo Angelo, mi scuso per il ritardo nella risposta, ma solo ora visualizzo la recensione davvero lusinghiera con impeccabile resoconto: la informo in anteprima che il prossimo autunno a Palazzo Ducale è prevista una mostra importante, sulla Prima Donna del Rinascimento mantovano e italiano....non posso dirle di più!!!
