True Ferrari fans gather in Maranello each June, when this company town celebrates its iconic sports car for Notte Rossa (Red Night) with concerts, exhibitions, and fireworks.

Getting around

Maranello does not sit along a rail line, so the easiest way to reach the Ferrari Museum is by catching a taxi or museum shuttle bus from the Modena train station, about 25 minutes away. Taxis are available all day, while the shuttle bus makes one run in the morning and another in the afternoon, so timing can be tricky. Otherwise, rent a car from Bologna or Florence and drive to the museum, where there is free parking.

Traveler tips

The Ferrari Museum in Maranello is partnered with the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, with a cumulative ticket and a shuttle connecting the two museums. The Enzo Ferrari Museum includes Ferrari’s original machine shop while the Ferrari Museum in Maranello is attached to the modern Ferrari factory. Visitors can take a coach tour through the factory campus but are not allowed inside. The tour also includes a glimpse of the Fiorano test track.
