Informative tour about Pablo's story and stops including his burial grounds, a monument built in the former location of his home, and a lost stop to a museum owned and funded by his nephew. Overall, a good experience.

They are only worried about the commission they get paid for each person if you decide to do the museum. Which is not included but they say it’s quick and worth it so they can make extra money off tourists. To only find out that they don’t mention that they will leave you stranded after then run the list of museums visitors once your inside. They don’t give you any notice and don’t leave you at your regular pick up point. Thankfully I’m tech savvy and very outspoken but for older/ non local people this would be one of the worse experiences.

Hello, a warm greeting. The information clearly states that the museum is not included and has an additional cost! The tour was completed as planned, information was shared, the entire tour was conducted, and the experience was very comprehensive. Our tour guide was soooo cool. He made everyone from our group feel comfortable. He asked where each person was from and played music from each of our countries to get us into the groove. We had both English and Spanish persons on board and he did an amazing job explaining in both languages. He made sure that at each stop, we understood the reason we were going and what happened there. Also made sure we had all of our questions answered. The tour gave us a good view of certain areas that Pablo either contributed to or there were significant parts of his life. I really enjoyed this tour.

we were taken to a street shirne were escobars mother went looked through a fence at a football pitch then taken to a cake shop fgor no apparent reason apart from a back hander for the guide then posed in front of the bus a told to cheer as if having a good time Then to a memorial ( where we were introduced to a man pretnding to be retired hitman selling t shirts and book from the back of van) and then to grave of Escobar The best bit and the main part was the museum run by the Escobar family we were told its not part of the tour and we pay to go in no problem But when we finished the tour came the big shock no bus they had dumped us we were ok but some people had children Nobody was aware we would have to make our own way back

Disappointing to say the least. We booked an English tour with this company and it was 80% Spanish, and 20% English. The Spanish descriptions of the locations was 10x longer than the English. Locations were rushed, and compared to another company we saw at the same sites - they appeared to be explaining things in much more detail. Bottled water was not included. At the end of the tour, the pressure for a tip from our guide was overbearing, as he was asking my GF and not me (for obvious reasons) - I had to step in and tell him no. Save your money, go to the cemetery by yourself and then go to the Escobar museum. We had a great time there, and you don’t need this tour to get in (even tho our guide told us he worked for the Escobar family and can get us in without a reservation? lol!)

Awesome experience on this Pablo Escobar tour. I really enjoyed learning about the real Medellín Cartel days and seeing the places where it all happened. Our guide “el cubano” was super knowledgeable and entertaining. His great sense of humor really made the experience fun.

I would not recommend this tour. There is not much to see, just call a cab to take you to the Inflexion Park and the cemetary and then read up the description on Wikipedia. The other stops are not worth it...we stopped at a basket ball court built by Pablo Escabor and saw le Cathedral (his personal prison) from a distance as it was way way up in the hills. Also this was not a English tour. I was the only English speaker, everyone else spoke Spanish so the conversations were all in Spanish, I couldn't understand anyone. The guide would quickly repeat all the facts to me in English before we had to move onto the next stop. Find yourself a truly English tour with other English speakers, where they don't combine both languages. The last stop was the Pablo Escobar Museum which is the most expensive museum in the world run by his relative, the ticket was going to cost $50CAD so everybody opted out. You spend more time the traffic of Medellin than at each location. The tour van was cool and has some funky artwork. Maybe add the Le Cathedral as a stop on this tour so there is more substance to it.

Good day, first of all thank you for your comment, second of all, the goverment it's been trying to erase every part of Pablo's history, so there's too many options to see, and La Catedral corrently it's not a place for tourisim because it is kinda dangerous for everyone, but still, thank you so much for taking the time of writting this comment.

DANIEL the tour quide we had was wondeerful. He was the perfect person for this job. Enthusiastic, interested in helping, knowledgable and always with a smile. One note regarding the instructions for the tour, the given address on the voucher was wrong. It said 53 and 9th and should be 43 and 9th. Ten blocks of difference!

It’s a sensitive subject but it is part of Colombian history

I liked the small tour group and learned about the history of Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel. The tour van had some cool artwork on it too. I think the tour guides addressed the sensitive subject in a tasteful manner as well. We went to a comuña sponsored by Pablo and saw a lot of photographs not available to see elsewhere. We also visited the Inflection Memorial Park and we went to the cemetery where we saw Escobar’s and a few other infamous narco graves. We also did this as a family tour with a seven year old but nothing was really inappropriate or violent for her.

Our group was 20+ people and a mix of spanish and english speakers so our guide (john) had to recite all of the information 2x. This made the tour so much longer than it needed to be. It was disorganized with minimal attention paid to pace of tour. I would recommend finding another operator.

Johnathan was a very friendly and hospitable guide who made sure we all had a great time. It was very interesting to see the history of the worlds most notorious drug lord. The guide also told us about the facts and explained each site we visited in much detail. Highly recommend!
