Fun friendly tour
Lorie_P, May 2024
We loved everything about this tour: 2 hour horseback ride in Monument Valley with the Sacred Monument Co. We are older ladies and had smaller horses (mine was a kids horse, too they told me). They kindly waited for us as we were caught in traffic getting into the monument valley area, so we had a private tour. Pointed out many interesting sights and movie locations and Navajo traditions.
Beginner friendly, lifetime memories

This was definitely the highlight of mine and my wife's adventure through Arizona. The tour provided a beautiful way to view monument valley on such well mannered and well cared for horses, with amazing guides. Our guide Logan made sure everyone was okay and having a good time, and was kind enough to take pictures at key spots. This was my wifes first time on a horse and my first time in many years, and we were both extremely comfortable and confident on the trail. If you have never been on a horse and are worried if you can/should do this, the answer is 1000% yes. Everyone on our tour of 7 was an amateur rider and everyone had an amazing time. You will definitely be sore for a few days if you don't ride often, but don't let a little soreness stop you from missing the experience of a lifetime!!
Truly magnificent

This was a truly magical experience for my partner's birthday. I cannot thank the Native Americans and their beautiful horses enough. Riding out into Monument Valley on horseback is is something I will never ever forget.
don’t expect a 2 hour tour if you paid for it
Ryan_S, Apr 2024
Beautiful scenery but poor customer service. Although we paid for 2 hours our tour was 1.5 hours with beaks in between. It’s a rip off but you have to do it, it’s beautiful out there. Not worth the 2 hour. On the other hand I’m not sure if the 1 hour tour lasts only 30 minutes…they are very demanding on the tip…hard to believe this is a place in US. good luck. wish I’d get my money back and try a different tour option…anyways, too late now.

it was beautiful we had fun and we took a lot of picture, I would recommend it, the team was very nice.
Great tour, bad directions
Jared_J, Apr 2024
The tour itself was great. The annoying part were the instructions on meeting them. Viator says to wait in the parking lot but they your company wants you to meet down the dirt road where the stables are.
Amazing experience

Amazing experience. Our tour guide Alvin was kind and friendly, he takes great pictures! The horses are happy and well cared for.

Arrived on time at the meeting point, waited an hour but nobody showed up. Eventually arrived at the stables. Nobody gave us an explanation as to why nobody Came to pick us up. Very rude and blunt overall. Tour was beautiful regarding settings and horses. The guide was not in the mood, didn't give us any explanation, didn't reassure us on the horses, ... Weird vibe.
Fabulous even for non experienced riders

Amazing Time With Zeke!
Jessica_W, Apr 2024
Our horseback riding tour through Monument Valley with Zeke was an unforgettable adventure. Zeke's passion and knowledge about the area added depth to our experience as we rode through iconic landscapes and towering sandstone buttes. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to soak in the vast, serene deserts and connect with the landscape on a personal level. The horses were gentle and suitable for all skill levels, enhancing our connection to the environment. A highlight was stopping at scenic overlooks where Zeke shared traditional Navajo stories, making the tour not just a sightseeing trip but a journey into the heart of Monument Valley. This experience stands out as a cherished memory, highly recommended to anyone seeking to explore the beauty of this majestic place in a unique and meaningful way.
Fabulous experience with a great guide

Without any prior riding experience, i had the best time! You really wander in the middle of those fab rock formations you have seen and get to hear personal stories from your navajo guide
Great experience!

Must do!!!
Isabella_P, Mar 2024
Absolutely breathtaking views! The horses are easy to ride on (we were beginners). Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He stopped at many points to take pictures of us. It was a very memorable, unforgettable experience! Totally worth the drive from Sedona where we were staying. Thank you all!!!
Magnificent, memorable family experience--don't miss it!

This gorgeous, moving horseback experience, at the end of an incredibly scenic drive to get to Monument Valley, was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I planned it as a surprise for my wife, so of course *she* loved it. I was so moved by the awe-inspiring setting that I almost cried from the sheer majesty of the valley and its other-worldly rock formations. Even my 17-year-old son loved it. Our guide didn't mess up the experience by talking too much, and he planned several stops for photographs so we could document this once-in-a-lifetime event.
Once in a lifetime - Do it!
Caroline_H, Feb 2024
This was a once in a lifetime experience. I rode Toby and my best friend rode Sideburn - we were taken out by Deion who was lovely. The trip was such a great experience - snow had fallen the night before so the valley was beautiful. The trail was soft underfoot for the horses and both were such lovely natured horses. Deion took time to take our pictures, explain about the Valley, it's history and about him too which was really interesting. If you are thinking about this tour - stop thinking and do it! You won't regret it - it was brilliant from start to finish.
Best tour I've experienced in my life

Very cool and nice guides. Definitly worth it. No matter how experienced you are, they will guide and help you. Even experienced people can have fun
Thank you
Faye_M, Oct 2023
What an amazing morning. Our Guide Deion was very knowledgeable and I am so glad he shared his story. Navy my horse was a bit stubborn but very safe. Thank you for sharing your country.
Great experience.

This is a great opportunity to ride among the Mesas in Monument Valley. The horses were great and good for anyone from "never ridden before" to "I'm a pro." Easy check-in. However, directions were a little confusing. Once you enter the parking lot for the visitor's center, turn left towards the Mesas, then turn left again. You'll head towards a gravel area with picnic tabels (Campground). Drive thru the campground. You'll see a couple small buildings and a round pen for the horses...the tour starts here.
