the guide, John, was excellent. He new the history of these locations and adapted his tour to us. The 3.5 hour tour was just right. Enough time to see and photograph everything. The history and events explained by our guide was the highlight of this tour. My wife and I would recommend this tour to everyone.
Nice valley, discover of the navajo culture
PierreEmmanuel_B, Dec 2023
It was really a nice trip. Our guide Steven showed us very interesting places and we learnt many things about the navajo culture thanks to him. Our children really enjoyed this excursion. We strongly recommend it.
Mysteries Revealed.

Anazazi ruins, petroglyphs, arches, and an afternoon of Dineh culture, with our excellent guide, Jameson. In some ways, better than the Monument Valley experience. Well worth it.
So happy we took the Mystery Valley Tour!!
Lee_A, May 2023
Our guide was Jameson and he really made the tour worthwhile. We were the only couple in a very comfortable Suburban. Jameson told us about the special sites we were seeing — ancient ruins, petroglyphs, caves and arches—and also shared with us Navajo culture, customs, language and foods. We got out of the vehicle to hike around and take pictures whenever we wanted. The roads are sandy & in places rocky and Jameson was an experienced driver and we always felt safe. If you want to get off the beaten track and see parts of the reservation that very few people see, take this tour!

Guide/driver, Jamison made this a wonderful experience. He shared his knowledge about flora & fauna, as well as that of the Navaho culture. He was very engaging & patient. Trip would not have been same without Jamison. He’s the best!
Mystery Valley, definitely recommend!

If you have 3-4 more hours after your own 17-mile loop or wildcat trail, it is definitely what you would want to consider. Larry was a very friendly and informative guide so our family had a great time watching the ruins of the Anasazi people, gorgeous arches, and views!
An informative, scenic, and very enjoyable visit to the other side of Monument Valley
Laurie_G, Apr 2023
Mystery Valley, to the west of Monument Valley, is comparatively lush and green. There are dwellings, petroglyph sites, two magnificent arches, and great views back to Monument Valley from the ridges above Mystery Valley. The ride getting to the valley area is fairly long, and our guide used that time to explain much about the Navajo (Dine') culture, past and present, in broad terms, and specifically through the story of his upbringing and his family. Highly recommended.
Must do
Elizabeth_E, Oct 2022
Must do if you're looking for something off the beaten track. We were the only ones on the tour as most people stayed in the main Monument Valley Park, but this was brilliant. Our guide Elvis is Navajo and lives in Mystery Valley. The rock formations are very different in this area and we had a great time exploring them with our guide, including rock bridges and arches. It was a fantastic afternoon and one of the best things we did all holiday.
Awesome tour

Our guide was absolutely terrific, he shared so much knowledge that we have told our friends when they go in a few months this is a must do! Hopefully they won't be rained on like we were, but our guide had ponchos ready and the experience was one our whole family will remember.

Very enjoyable tour! Would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get up close and personal with nature and the spirits of the past. The serenade you gave with the flute was very special. Will never forget it! Thank you, Harry!
visite confidentielle et atypique
Michael_B, Oct 2023
