Overview

Discover the underwater world off the coast of Oman on this half-day snorkeling trip to the Daymaniyat Islands. You'll take a shared boat trip out to the islands from Seeb, where you can explore the coral reefs in little inlets. Home to three different species of turtles, the Murray Eel, sting rays, schools of fish, and sometimes black tip sharks and whale sharks. With total use of the snorkeling gear and snacks to re-energize after your time in the water.

To schedule a pickup and drop please let us know (pickup and drop on a chargeable basis). We are located in Seeb harbour, near the fish market, there is a sign to coast guard, follow the sign inside the port. they security guard will open the barrier gate.

Great experience

Such a great experience with our captain Badawi. The boat was really clean, as the snorkeling accessories. The spots to see turtles where nice and for everyone, so don't need to be a diver professional. We had also drinks and things to eat on the boat. 👌

We had a fantastic day at the Daymaniat Islands. Since we did not have a rental car, we wanted to arrange a pickup. This went easily and we were picked up nicely on time. The trip was well arranged and all the necessities were there. In addition, our guides were very adequate and pleasant. The snorkeling was great and we were able to see a lot of the amazing nature of the islands. Furthermore, cold drinks and food were provided. Altogether a great day, which was well worth it.

Turtles, sharks, mantas and much more

We had a wonderful day at Daymaniat Islands, visited several locations around the islands and watched the turtles, thousands of colorful fish, sharks, mantas and squids. There is plenty of corals and sea life in general around the islands. Our guide also provided the snorkeling equipment, tasty snacks and beverages. I would definitely recommend this tour and would love to come back again.

A must do when in Oman

I had an amazing day snorkeling and seeing so much beauty. I did message the company and reconfirmed my pick up for the next day which was a little stressful because most of the times there’s a delay when conversing through email but it does help to state that you have a what’s app and leave the number when confirming. But all went through very smoothly, I was picked up on time by Mohammed who was wonderful and such a nice person, and taken to the pier. Our boat captain Wakar was so nice and I cannot recommend him enough, he’s excellent. He took us to 2 snorkeling spots and my gosh this place blew my mind. The water was so clear and the marine life was just magical. This excursion was definitely the highlight of my trip to Oman. Thank you so much Mohammed and Wakar for a fantastic day and an incredible day that I will always treasure.

Was amazing to be swimming with turtles, stingray and many other marine life. The crystal blue water and sanded beaches are just superb. The only thing I recommend is the transfer is not included and you need to pay additional. Please add this note to the tour.

Good fun with sea turtles

The boat ride out to Daymaniyat Islands was exciting, fast like gliding above water. Visibility at both snorkelling sites was good. We saw as many as 30 green sea turtles in one small area. The beaches are all very pretty with aquamarine waters. Equipment is all provided and the boat is spacious and safe with canvas top sun shade. I was picked up on time and Muhammad is a friendly driver returning me to the hotel and giving me suggestions about good local restaurants

L'excursion aux îles Daymaniat était parfaite , l'endroit est très beau et nous pouvons voir des tortues dans leur élément. Les capitaines du bateau Sunny et DJ étaient parfaits, leurs explications très claires et nous nous sommes sentis en parfaite sécurité en leur compagnie. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés cette excursion pour voir un petit de paradis omanais !

War ein wenig enttäuscht

Habe mich für die Nachmittagstour entschieden, da ich 45km Anfahrt hatte. Leider ist der angegebene Treffpunkt nicht ausgeschildert, dadurch wusste wir nicht, ob ich am richtigen Kai waren.(mittlerweile hatten sich weitere TN eingefunden.) Boot hatte dann leider 20 min Verspätung. Bis zum 1. Schnorcheln ca. 30 min mit dem Speed Boot. Haben dort mehrere Schildkröten gesehen, aber kaum Fische. Das Riff ist meiner Meinung nach tot! Dann noch einen Landgang auf einer Insel und wieder zurück zum Kai. Hatte mir ein bisschen mehr erwartet.

Der Ausflug zu den Diamant-Inseln war großartig. Unser Guide Mohammed hat uns vom Kreuzfahrt-Hafen abgeholt und auf dem Rückweg hat er uns auch noch die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Muscat gezeigt. Der Schnorchel-Trip war top organisiert. Es gab Getränke und Snacks auf dem Boot und Sandwiches am wunderschönen Strand wo wir Pause machten. Wir wurden mit dem Boot an zwei verschiedene Spots gefahren wo wir Schildkröten und sogar Riffhaie gesehen haben. Ein tolles Erlebnis!

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di fare questa escursione con Global Scuba LLC e soprattutto nella persona di Mohamed che con grande disponibilità ci ha permesso non solo di visitare queste isole meravigliose ma anche di fare un tour della città di Doha. Grazie alla sua disponibilità abbiamo potuto usufruire anche del servizio di prelievo e rientro in nave. Super consigliato, affidabile e puntuale!
