When to get there

With perennially warm weather, it's no surprise that this beautiful beach attracts tourists all year round. However, if you're looking to escape the crowds, the best seasons are the months on either side of the peak winter period. During October and again in April, the temperatures are warm, but the crowds are far smaller than in winter. It's the perfect time to soak up the crisp sea breeze and lower humidity levels.

Plenty of space on the sand

Qurum Beach is one of the longest beaches in Oman. At low tide, the shoreline extends far into the water, providing a picturesque view and plenty of space to spread out along the sand to relax. With the abundance of palm trees that line the sand and some purpose-built shelters, there is no shortage of shaded spaces to enjoy a picnic or simply soak up the sun.
