Experience some of Oman’s best snorkeling on this hassle-free excursion to Dimaniyat Island from Muscat. Rather than organizing a DIY snorkeling trip—which might end up in seeing little marine life—let a skippered, shared boat take you to this uninhabited Gulf of Oman island, renowned for its translucent waters, seagrass fields, reefs, sea turtles, eels, and dolphins. Pick up 8.00 a.m. Guide will take you to the experience Traditional Omani breakfast with Omani Bread & Karak Tea. Later The city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This is one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Later we drive along the picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq which retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market albeit housed under modern timber roofing. Then it will be time to have a photo stop at the official residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, The Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. From the Palace, you will travel through the old town, here you will pass some of the original houses. After the Tour, Guide will take you to the local restaurant to try Omani food (Omani rice with Meat/fish/chicken/vegetables). Post this our guide will drop you at your hotel/Airport/Port.

We will start the tour passing by the Royal Opera ,a massive monument ordered by the SULTAN himself as a music lover.We will then make a photo stop at the illuminated Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque. Afterwards, we head towards the Old Muscat and its Corniche and harbor. Then go to the Muttrah Souq to discover a mix of the old and new along with a myriad sights, sounds and fragrances from everyday life. Do a little souvenir shopping and continue to visit & drive to most prominent landmark in Muscat to the Sultan’s Palace (Al Alam Palace) to take a photo of the gates and colonnaded approach by night. Flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani, the palace is today largely used for ceremonial purposes. The lightings are just amazing. We will then head back to our start point passing the famous AL BUSTAN hotel, Wadi Al Kabir popular area , RUWI downtown to end up in our final destination to savor a great OMANI fish grilled to perfection & then transfer back to your hotel.

Enjoy a unique blend of sightseeing, Omani hospitality and trying Omani food. You will start the tour by ordering Omani breakfast from the car, the local way. Then head to Al Hamra to see the Bahla fort with the old city of Bahla & climb to the great Jebel Shams "Grand Canyon of Oman" . After that head to a real Omani family house where you be welcome with rose water & then together with the family you will see chicken BBQ on rocks, this is a ancient way of cooking mostly famous in south of Oman. Once the meal is ready you will sit together with the family on the floor to eat lunch. After that you your guide will take you to try the famous Omani sweet "halwa" for free. Don't forget to take a sip of rich tasty Omani coffee before you set to depart back to your hotel.

First, you will be welcomed at host home’s doorstep and take you upstairs to where they live. Starting by setting in the living room area, having Omani dates and coffee as the Omani traditions goes.
