The Joy Spence Appleton Estate Rum Experience is approximately 2 hours away from Montego Bay and Negril
There will be scheduled rest stops along the journey

Some areas of waterfalls are fairly rocky, as such water shoes are recommended

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Viator you did us proud on this one. We had booked YS falls and Appleton but as numbers low you paired us up with 3 others doing the additional black river trip rather than cancel us. From pick up by Elliot ( tour guide and teacher ) and Shippy ( our excellent driver ) until dropping us back to the hotel we had the most amazing time. Information all day , lovely little bits of extra information, timed to perfection and even a quick additional stop on way back to try cream rum too. Could not fault this experience or viators handling of it. My favourite day in Jamaica , loved it ! And doing it in a smaller group ( rather than with the big TUI group as previously planned ) meant we got a true relaxed experience that felt really special . Do this trip with Viator if your in Jamaica :-)

The trip to YS falls and the Appleton rum estate,was fantastic our Driver Barleigh was excellent and very professional and would not hesitate to use Viator again

We booked the double experience but because we did not meet the minimum of 4 people we had to book a triple excursion. Well the second couple never showed up! However, we enjoyed the boat safari! We felt rushed at the YS Falls. Appleton Estates was amazing! Peter was fantastic! Our driver James and tour guide Tamara were both outstanding!

Beyond expectations

This excursion was by far better than I expected. The confirmation mail was only misleading as it mentioned zip lining and that you had to wear a face mask, but for the rest it was super. I did not want to swim, but I could still go “through” the waterfall with the group. You don’t need water shoes for that (bare feet). Appleton Estate was one of the best tours I ever did - I’m not sure about the donkey they use (just hope he stands in a stable between tours so that he can also lay down, also there was no water and it was super hot) but for the rest, WOW! Nowhere was asked for tips in this experience, a true contradiction to what I experience so far in Jamaica. The overall tour guide Elliott deserves a medal, was really good.

Appleton Estates was a very good tour. You learn alot and taste alot of rum. Free drinks and food. Great time. Black river safari was good but short because it was late and it Rained. YS falls was a total bust because of the rain . Otherwise it would have been nice

What a day! Staff were all super nice and they gave us so much info about Jamaica 🇯🇲 super entertaining and educative. The schedule was on point we had just the right amount of time at each activities and we felt in safe hands.

Y’all Falls is Paradise

The falls are a “can’t miss” experience and the tour provides a perfect amount of time to relax and explore. There are gorgeous gardens and multiple spring-fed pools to enjoy here as well. I chose this tour for the falls, but was also pleasantly surprised by the Appleton tour- even if that isn’t “your thing” it is a nice experience. As a woman traveling alone in Jamaica, this tour was fun, safe, and a highlight of my trip. Eliot, our tour guide, was bright and very funny; I highly recommend him and this tour company.
