Good family fun

The tour guide (Marvin) was amazing. We had a fun time and learned a little more about Nassau. The snorkeling was good too, though the snorkeling guide (Jason) seemed a bit grumpy.

While we were excited to book this excursion to be able to enjoy some of the land markings as well as snorkeling this was definitely did not meet expectation! Our tour guide previous tour ran over which put him behind picking us up which I understand can happen. I let him know we had to be back by five to make sure we had time to get back on our cruise. Almost an hour drive to snorkel for maybe 20 minutes. The snorkeling area was pretty but be aware of a lengthy swim and a very rocky area to get through to be able to do so. I had to sit back with one of my kids because of him not being able to get through the rocky area(he's 14) We did not get to see any of the land tour and some how our trip back took less than 30 minutes and made it back to port at 4:15. I feel paying $749 for a family of 5 for a rushed excursion was a complete rip off and would not recommend this excursion to any one.

Hello! First of all, we sincerely are sorry that you did not feel like you had a 5 star experience with us. Our goal is to leave every customer with a “wow” experience. As you stated in your review, your guide apologized for his previous booking being over time. His guests before you were late due to circumstances beyond their control. Thank you for understanding that it made Jeremy a bit late to pick you up. We tried to make sure that you all had a great time by even upgrading your family to a private tour at no additional cost. As you stated in your review, you gave your tour guide, Jeremy a time limit whereas this tour is 3.5 hours. . We definitely would not have wanted to cause you to miss your cruise so he accommodated your request. We are so sorry that you felt rushed. He was doing everything in his power to meet your request whiles maximizing your time. Therefore, you still completed all of the parts of the tour. However, we were informed that some of the persons in your group could not really swim which is one of our requirements listed for this snorkeling tour. I can imagine that not being able to fully experience the amazing beauty of the underwater sculptures due to this factor was disappointing. I would like to say that as a customer, you are the priority and if you ever are displeased with anything, please feel free to express this whiles on the experience so that you can enjoy yourself. After all, the Bahamas is too beautiful not to enjoy! Thanks once again for your valuable feedback and we surely hope that we provided some clarity and that you would be willing to return and let us give you a “wow” experience that you deserve! Our tour with Jeremy was awesome! He was polite, Attentive, knowledgeable and brought the Bahamian history to life for us. Also, he had seen me looking for sea glass at Clifton before our scuba diving. Then, when I got seasick at the end and was feeling horrible, he presented me with a little bag of sea glass and shells from the beach to add to my collection! So, so thoughtful and kind.

Marvin is a friendly and wonderful guide. Glad we had him for the drive to our destination. Snorkeling the ruins was worth it as you see a neat piece of art and a sunken plane. Wildlife was limited but a neat experience.

Wonderful Half Day Tour of Land & Sea

Our tour guide, Jeremy, picked us up from the hotel and was very gracious and kind from the start. The “land”/caves section of the tour was so interesting and then driving through the island to the sea part was very fun and interesting as well and Jeremy was wonderful the whole way. We snorkeled in Clifton Heritage National Park, which was beautiful and a highlight of the tour. Not only did we see the underwater statues but we saw a lot of marine life. Our snorkeling guide and Jeremy were wonderful and we had an overall great time!

Do not book this tour if you have sensitive skin!! My family and I went on the tour on Saturday and the tour guy was very good. When we got to the snorkeling area we got all the gears. On our way to see the sculpture in the ocean, we started to itch a lot. Our skin felt burning. We couldn't be in the water any longer. We swim back to the seashore and have to shower immediately. After we shower with clean water we had rashes all over our chest, back and neck. The water guide indicated it could have been the seaweed and he advised us to put on hydrocortisone for the rash. It was not a good experience. We felt they knew about what could happen and didn't advise of how bad it can become for someone with sensitive skin. There are so many tours you can book for a little more and have a pleasant experience than booking this one.

Of course the tour is in the ocean which unfortunately we cannot control or know how everyone reacts to the ocean. We are so sorry that you may have been allergic to something in the water. We, nor Clifton were aware that this would happen. In fact Clifton’s snorkel guide also went with you in the water. I hope that you are feeling much better now and I am extremely sorry you did not get to fully enjoy the beautiful underwater sculptures on this tour. However, I do hope that you had a great time on the bus version of the tour, exploring our rich culture and history.

A great afternoon in Nassau

This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Nassau. Marvin was a great tour guide. We ended up on a "private" tour since we we the only two who booked that day. Marvin picked us up at our hotel and gave us a tour of the island as we drove over to the beach to snorkel. He is very knowledgeable about the island and is just a fun guy to have a conversation with. He got us signed up at the park and walked au down to the beach where the snorkel guides took over. They took us out on an adventure to the statues, the submerged plane, and reef in the area. The water was clear and calm and we saw a decent number of fish. Marvin was waiting for us when we arrived back on shore and kept us informed and entertained as we drove back to the hotel. We took a brief stop at the caves and saw the many bats that inhabit the place. It was a great day to spend the afternoon! Thanks Marvin!

We had a great afternoon with Marvin, our driver and tour guide. He was warm, engaging, and knowledgeable! He provided a lot of history of the island and the country. The snorkeling was just OK, since there is limited coral reef at that beach, but there were still plenty of fish to see, and the underwater statutes were a neat touch. The water was very clear and warm. For a low-key, relaxing afternoon with some snorkeling, this was a great excursion!

This was such a fun tour! We learned a ton about Nassau that we never would've learned if we had spent all of our time on Paradise Island. Our tour guide was very personable and made the experience all the better. The snorkeling portion of the tour was also nice. The statues are amazing! Snorkel gear wasn't great, so I'd suggest bringing your own if you have it. All in all, we had an awesome experoence and would recommend taking this tour as you kick off your vacation in the Bahamas. There's definitely some places we saw that we will be going back to later.

My first time snorkeling and it was the most amazing experience of my life! Beautiful and unique views inside the water, the sculptures are breathtaking and mixing so well with all fishes (we saw a stingray)! Our driver Marvin shared a little of the Bahamas histories and songs! The water was calm and warm. The instructor was calm and patient. My ship was leaving too soon and we couldn’t enjoy more as I wish. I definitely recommend snorkeling to see the Ocean Atlas the biggest sculpture underwater!

The Ocean Atlas statue is a must see if you’re in Nassau. The largest underwater sculpture in the world and super impressive. Jeremy was our land tour guide / driver, he was great and the really interesting history when walking through the caves. The sea tour was the main event for us to see the statues and the snorkel guides were really patient and friendly. Ensured we all had time to take the photos and videos we wanted.

Jeremy informed us of so much on the Land portion of the tour, I wish I had the pictures of inside the cave but I only have videos that are a little long to upload but he did an amazing job. The Sea portion was breathtaking. The current was so so strong though so thankfully the guides Stevfano, Dom & the guys had to pull us out as they swam. I wish I got more pictures of the underwater art installations but it’s something to consider as I would definitely do this again. It was beautiful from the fish swimming next to us, to the coral reefs & the color of the water. Definitely something people should take the time out to see forsure! ❤️

Had a blast snorkeling and wandering into caves

We had such a great time, Our guide was really nice and knew a lot of history about the area. It was nice to get off the beaten path of town and to see Clifton which is actually a national park in the Bahamas. One we got there we met our two snorkel guides Stephan and Dominic who were super friendly and let us set the pace for our snorkel hour. The tide was a little rough that day and they kept checking in with us to make sure we felt safe and weren’t too tired to make the swim back. Our drive back we stopped at the caves and even got to climb inside. Our guide gave us a little more historical back round on the first settlers that lived here and it was so awesome to see in person. We also wanted to go back to town so they dropped us off at a different location which was nice. I wish I could remember our guides name, I think it was Jeremy but we didn’t so many things over this past week I wish I would have wrote the review sooner. Thank you so much for such a great time
