We offer pick-ups from locations within the downtown Niagara Falls area. We will contact you 1-3 days prior to your tour regarding a specific pick up time. If you do not have access to phone or email please be ready and waiting 30 minutes prior to your tour start time. If you did not select a hotel and do not require a hotel pick up, please be ready and waiting at the front entrance of 5400 Robinson Street parking lot 15 mins prior to your tour start time.

What To Expect

After a hotel pickup, head to the central part of Niagara Falls with a guide, who will provide a detailed tour of the Canadian side of the falls, offering stories, history and fun facts along the way.

Start with an exciting ride up to the observation deck at the top of the Skylon Tower. Enjoy the incredible view of the Niagara River and all three waterfalls — the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls from 520 feet in the air.

Then it’s down the elevator and off to the lookout point at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, arguably the most popular spot to see the falls rolling over the edge of a cliff.

Next, experience the Journey Behind the Falls excursion, where the sound is like thunder and the view is unparalleled. See the Horseshoe Falls rumble from 13 stories above — dropping over 700,000 gallons of water every second at 40 miles per hour.

Then, during summer and fall months, take a Hornblower cruise for an up-close look at the falls. In winter and spring months, enjoy the Butterfly Conservatory and Niagara Fury. Afterward, continue to the Whirlpool Rapids, the largest series of standing waves in North America, and a look at the Niagara Parks Floral Clock, a unique timepiece that has been photographed almost as often as Niagara Falls.

Should hunger strike along the way, there are a number of food stands to grab a quick snack or beverage.

Boat ride and so much more

We enjoyed the whole thing but of course the boat ride was the most memorable. Our guide gave us his tip for the best place to stand on the boat, and he was correct! We all got soaked, of course, but that's part of the fun. Going behind the falls in the tunnels was also very cool. The Skyon Tower was OK but we had a better view from our hotel room at the Hilton.

Our tour guide - Martine with TripShepherd - picked us up in front of our hotel. We were in a small group which we really enjoyed! Getting into the sheer magnitude of Niagara Falls was a once in a lifetime experience - Very wet but a must see and do. Martine and her associate kept us entertained with many stories of the Falls and the people who have lived on and around the area. We would recommend TripShepherd to anyone looking for a memorable tour. We would recommend going to Skylon Towers before getting wet at the Falls.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Manish was an exceptional guide who made our tour both informative and enjoyable. His knowledge of the area and the Falls was impressive, and he provided fascinating insights throughout the tour. He even gave suggestions. The small group setting allowed for a more personalized experience, and we appreciated the attention to detail that Manish provided. The boat ride was exhilarating, offering breathtaking views of the Falls from a unique perspective, and the behind-the-falls experience was truly awe-inspiring. Cheryl our guide/host and driver has to be one of the most enthusiastic and service committed persons in this industry. Her complete focus was on our enjoyment of the tour and nothing was too much trouble for her, The entire tour was very well organised as well as interesting as well. Her knowledge of the history of the attractions is outstanding and she quickly made every person in the group tour feel comfortable and confident of her ability to deliver her tour of the Canadian Niagara Falls and sights. She was extremely helpful with those that were somewhat less able to move about freely by ensuring that she helped them with their mobility items and offered assistance at each section of the tour.

It was convenient to have someone take us to the three different sites that we visited and get us the tickets. I was hoping to learn more about the history of Niagara falls and little interesting facts. However, our tour guide seemed to only know the basics and got annoyed with me when I asked a lot of questions that she couldn't answer. She also had a strong accent which made it difficult for me to understand her when she was talking and I had to keep asking her to repeat things.

Picked up on time by Jim Went for a ride around historical sites learning the times and purposes The boat ride and the walk under the falls very exciting, what an experience The wonders of nature Got wet , laughed went up the skylon tower enjoyed the fantastic view and then Jim took us to the whirlpool area and the battleground always teaching and correcting our history knowledge Very nice and helpful and we got to bond with the other passengers from Mexico and a couple from Cleveland all so nice and friendly

Manesh gave us an incredible tour and insights that we would not normally know. Like where to see the best view on the boat, and encouraged us to enjoy the experience and not rush through everything. He made sure we had enough time to take pictures. He also gave us history, and we enjoyed places off the beaten trail that we would not have known about.

Seeing the variety of sights...not just the falls. We had a disabled teen and walker, a baby and buggy. The access was excellent and both the driver and the venues kept offering alternatives ( lifts, wheelchairs). An improvement would be more time to perhaps stop for a lunch with a view, to stop at the recommended tourist shop and maybe a little bit of the history...eg naming, crazy stunts...
