The barrel venue for the wine tasting was beyond our expectations. We have a sumptuous lunch at the Secret on the lake with amazing view. We highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Nice experience however I expected completely different, my partner and I have been on several different wine tours in multiple different countries over the years and this is probably the furthest from a wine tour, we had chocolate at 10:30 am, which was a little too sweet for the morning I’d say, we then had cheese with no pairings of wine (we found this very unusual) we also had a walk through a town for not much other reason than they sold craft things which was a little irrelevant, we were there to visit some vineyards and taste wine, not look around craft shops. We only tasted 4 different wines all day and had a very nice lunch out however I feel like this meal was prioritised a little too much in terms of where the tour money was spent. Over all wouldn’t go on this trip again and neither would I recommend it.

Hello Nicole, many thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, you may have booked the wrong tour it seems, the inclusions and places visited on the tour are outlined in the tour description. I have a feeling you may have meant to book our "Sunshine Coast Wine Tour" which may have met your expectations as this tour focuses on wine tasting only.
Our "Scenic Food and Wine Tour" includes several lookouts "Scenic", cheese tasting, chocolate and lunch "Food" and a visit to a cellar door "Wine'

Great day out - we ended up being a small group of 9
Got picked up at out hotel which was a bonus, the cheese, wine and chocolate stops were just perfect and the cheeses and chocolates were lovely
We stopped for lunch and that was included
I had lamb shanks and my husband had the mussels which were both very nice and there was plenty of food
Absolutely value for money and the places in the hinterland including the two little country towns were cery quaint
Had a wonderful time!

From start to finish this was an exceptional experience. We shared the trip with a lovely couple from Melbourne and had a very special day.
The tour guide, Jeff (Geoff) was beyond good. He knew answers to all the questions and knew all the locations to get the best photos and information. The lunch location was in a class of it's own and the food was excellent.
All 3 aspects of the trip - cheese, wine and chocolate were excellent, well presented and very enjoyable to say the least.
The "spare" time that we had to investigate the area was also really good and made a huge difference to just being 'herded' around on a fixed schedule.
I have to say that Jeff is a real asset to your company and whatever it is you pay him, it's not enough.

although the weather hindered the view for most of the lookouts, it didn't stop us enjoying the cheese, wine, chocolate and lunch. Not your typical wine tasting at a cellar door, instead we tried a selection of local wines at the barrel, a restaurant. The mix of cheese/food/wine and chocolate was well balanced and a nice change from tours that only focus on wine. Overall an enjoyable experience, it was just a shame about the weather.

Many thanks for the review, as you have noticed we are not spoiled for choice for winetasting as we only have two venues on the coast, and one of these venues is closed due to staff shortages which does create its own set of challenges. Nevertheless, everyone leave the day with a great experience.
