The meeting point is at the kayaks on Hahei Beach. Drive to the end of Hahei Beach Road and park where you can. Walk onto the beach and the kayaks are to your right. Please arrive on the beach 15 minutes before the starting time of the trip.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Laid back paddle and delicious coffee on an iconic and stunning beach. Pure magic.

Loved every moment of this excursion. Nathan was a fun kayak guide and great beach barista. Learned a ton about the area, saw amazing sites, never felt rushed or herded around. The whole operation was run very smoothly, with top-notch kayaks and gear, guides who all seemed to love what they do, and when it looked like it would be better for us to kayak on a Friday morning instead of Thursday afternoon, our tickets were changed with zero stress or hassle. And finally... Cathedral Cove! C'mon, you have to go. Cannot recommend this company and paddle enough.

Was a robust athletic experience! Not too hard but just the right amount of challenge and time on the water! Enjoyed the beach stop for tea and cookies and also the small group approach (5 plus guide)! Oliver was a great guide too, giving just the right amount of information and encouragement!

Kayaking through the gap in the rock was a great adrenalin rush. Everyone in the group was chatty and great company. Max and Sam have a great sense of humour and took an interest in each person on the trip.

My wife and I had such an amazing time! The tour was beautiful and amazing. We learned so much. I recommend bringing a bottle of water. Other than that be prepared for a great time and ask questions and learn as you enjoy a gorgeous/fun kayak experience.

We had a great time with Georgia as our tour guide. She was very nice and also tried to make sure that everybody felt safe in the water. It wasn‘t just a tour to go straight to Cathedrale Cove and back. We also had a few stops where she told us a lot about New Zealand‘s nature. Even the lunch break with hot drinks at the beach were well prepared and so delicious. We would definitely recommend doing it. But make sure to get in touch with them 24 hours before the trip, so you can clarify if the weather is going to be good for this experience or if they need to switch your trip to another time (in the morning or afternoon).

We were lucky and got a really great, sunny afternoon. Karissa was excellent in guiding us and giving us a bit of history of the area--very interesting. I was anxious about going out/coming in on the kayak with large swells, but she talked us through the process and it was very smooth with no capsizing in our group. My favorite parts were paddling through the island tunnel! Loved seeing the rock formation at Cathedral Cove, also.

We had a lovely kayak tour with our tour guide Hayden! My husband and I loved everything about it. The scenery was beautiful, the stop at cathedral cove was the perfect amount of time, and the kayak trip with very smooth. Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours came well prepared with jumper coats for the rain and all the gear we needed. We cannot recommend this enough!
