We walk through Auckland University, where we see a Māori marae and a Fale Pasifika. We return to our meeting point via the entertainment area of Aotea Square, Queen Street and side streets, pointing out places of significance along the way. Auckland is undergoing a great re-vitalisation so there has never been a better time to explore our great inner city. All this walking will make us thirsty so we finish our tour at an opulent art-deco restaurant for a welcome tea/coffee plus snacks e.g. pastries and or scones and or sandwiches (included in the tour cost).
