The incredible driver Fred who handled a health emergency with skill and compassion. This was followed by a very knowledgeable guide Benjamin assisted by Fred to make this a rewarding and interesting tour. Do not miss the artists studio.

North Cape was particularly good. Only 5 min at Fishing Village and 5 min at empty Sami Village disappointing. Stunning scenery and very lucky with clear, sunny skies.

Fabulous trip to Nordkapp with Bernadette, our guide / driver, who was informative and entertaining. We were very fortunate with the weather, and we had superb views from the North Cape - and so much better value than the ship's excursions.

Was advertised to include ‘Sami Families’ but we did not see any Sami. We saw many reindeer in the wild from the bus and also some up close at one stop we made. The recorded commentary was funny, entertaining and informative. The only difference from taking the local bus was the stop to see reindeer and the commentary. If you don’t care for that, then in my opinion, the local bus is the way to go.

Fabulous scenery and very knowledgeable guide. It was a very interesting trip and the weather was great so we saw the sights in lovely sunshine My only problem was the chaos at the start of the trip knowing which was indeed the trip we had booked as it seemed to be called North Cape Express not as above Not just us that was confused even the guides seemed to be. They were then having trouble trying to find enough space to fit the people with tickets. Once on the bus, a great trip

Not as advertised; poorly organized

Where to start … we were not given the correct starting time for this tour. We got to the correct spot, early, and no one knew anything. The Tourist Information centre said they thought it was a scam and they had heard lots of complaints. We asked a tour operator who had the right sign in their bus window and they said they had no idea what we were talking about. They said some other company has been using their website information and pictures and selling tours out of markup. There were at least two other couples who are also trying to find the same tour. I had emailed the day before to double check the time, and did finally get an answer back from them. That was when I found out we had an afternoon tour, instead of a morning tour. I emailed again, but didn’t receive anything else from them. (Neither did the other couples, although the other couples were told that something had been emailed to them.) Finally the ladies who were running the bus tour called and said oh yes, we were on the afternoon tour. So they knew all along. We came back at the updated time and although we were supposed to have a maximum of 35 on the tour, the bus was completely full. So it was probably more like 60 people. We stopped at a fishing village for a photo op, for no apparent reason. What we thought was a visit with Sami families, was reindeer in the field, with a guy dressed up in traditional attire, beside a reindeer, and an older woman in a building, who was selling items. We didn’t have time to browse. We got to North Cape. We were told in the booking info that we’d have an hour and 20 minutes I barely had an hour by the time the bus was parked. If we had even 10 more minutes, we could’ve seen the information video that they had at North Cape. Apparently it was quite good, so the tour guide said. That was extremely disappointing. There would have been time if they had given us the hour and 20 minutes, and still had made it back to the ship on time. The tour guide was knowledgeable. If this was my first experience with Viator, it would probably be my last.

Worst tour on viator we have ever taken

We have used Viator all over the world. This one is close to a scam. It's supposed to be 8am to 3pm. We arrived at time no one was around. Small van arrived at 8:20 and said trip started at 9am. We went up to North Cape. Left there for 2 hours so that they could go pick up another group. We were supposed to meet "Sami" family and see Reindeer. This stop was only 5 minutes for pictures of 3 reindeer far off in the distance along the side of the road. Never met family who ran gift shop. This is NOT the tour as described. A lot of confusion at port and we thought it was the wrong tour but they had our name. Trip is only 3 1/2 hours long. We didn't make any other stops.

It was a very nice tour. However I was never able to download my tickets and did not know the starting time. We had to get off ship early to find out tour and the time Our driver found us on her list so all was well.

I came down with Covid the morning of the tour and they refused to refund me my money. Three other family members went on the tour and were very disappointed. It basically was a bus ride with nobody guiding the tour - the driver said nothing. The stop to see the Sami Family was a guy with a costume on and a reindeer for you to take pictures. Very disappointing - especially for the price! A rip-off!!!

Expensive for what it is. Chaotic organisation.

The details for meeting this tour were not very good and when we arrived in Honningsvag (the starting point) there were no signs and no one recognised our ticket. Eventually after speaking to several people one representative said it looks a little like her tour so we got on that. Poor start. We drove and saw some sights. The Sami village experience was very poor and felt exploitative. There was no information before we arrived or when we got there other than a couple of Sami people just smiling for photos and selling souvenirs. On we went to north cape with some stunning views. The tour indicated there should be tickets for admission but none were needed. The experience there itself was very good with a lot to see and do for the 1.5hours we were there. Lots of queuing though meant we didn’t see all the exhibits. More time was needed. Overall it was very expensive for what it was and we could have bought the same tour for less money with the bus driver. We were disappointed.

Comfortable coaches provided, some tour description on board. Stopped at Sami farm and met a tame reindeer and its owner. We only had one hour at the North Cape, time to see the Globe and watch a beautiful Panorama film. Only downside the PA system was not so clear in our bus. Overall very well organised, for a very popular spot.

Magnifique excursion

Très belle excursion en famille, route en bus à travers de magnifiques paysages, beaucoup de rennes en liberté le long des routes, Arrêt au village Sami et au village des pecheurs (très beau). Arrivée au Cap Nord avec visite libre, de très beaux paysages à perte de vue et belle exposition à l'intérieur (surtout le film au cinéma). Je la conseille, surtout vu le prix par rapport aux prix demandés en croisière (MSC Presioza)

Esperienza molto interessante, il tempo purtroppo, in questi luoghi non si può "prenotare", siamo stati comunque fortunati. Scesi dalla nave nel parcheggio, di fronte all'ufficio turistico, c'erano numerosi autobus. Abbiamo chiesto e lo abbiamo trovato subito. La nostra guida si chiamava Genny, molto disponibile, attenta e cauta nel guidare. Un consiglio... cercate di essere puntuali e di rispettare gli orari che vi vengono indicati, ... non aspettano e partono!

Goede voorbereiding vanuit Viatours en prima excursie. Alleen bij het instappen van de bus was het wat rommelig omdat men terecht probeerde om ook twee deelnemers met een rolstoel mee te nemen. Alles bij elkaar een onvergetelijke ervaring.

Één grote teleurstelling

Onze verwachtingen werden totaal niet waargemaakt. We hebben voor 4 personen 490€ betaald voor een busritje en een bezoek aan de noord-kaap. Van het mooie programma kwam er niks terecht. Toen we aankwamen was het een chaos. Er was sprake van overboeking en werden ergens in een taxibus gezet. In deze bus werd helemaal niks gezegd..terwijl er door de mist ook niks te zien was van de omgeving. Bij de Noordkaap aangekomen was er ook geen gids of handleiding..we werden aan ons lot overgelaten. De Noordkaap zelf was niet meer dan een goedkoop opgebouwd toeristisch centrum zonder echt mooie en leuke dingen om te zien. En ook hier konden we door de mist niks van de omgeving zelf zien..De panoramische film was ook een aanfluiting. Onze hoop was gevestigd op ons bezoek aan de oorspronkelijke sami-familie en rendierboerderij...dit was helaas net zo'n teleurstelling. We stopten niet langer dan 5 minuten langs de weg. Er stond welgeteld 1 vrouw in oorspronkelijke kledij die een toeristisch winkeltje had..en er waren 3 rendieren achter een heuvel..ook hier werd niks verteld. En de andere busreizigers die deze excursie niet geboekt hadden en 80€ p/p hadden betaald (dus ruim 40€ p/p minder) mochten ook kijken. We hoorden van de chauffeur dat het al de hele dag chaos was.. We hebben niemand van de excursie nog gezien. Het enige wat ik gaaf vind is dat ik kan zeggen dat we op het allernoordelijkste puntje van Europa ben geweest. Maar daarvoor had ik geen excursie hoeven boeken
