Wonderful Cotswold experience

Mal and Pete’s tour was fabulous! Exactly what I was hoping for in terms of seeing beautiful, cozy villages, exploring shops and seeing the rolling hills. I found it very easy to take the train in from London to Moreton in Marsh station and Mal was waiting for me there when I arrived. Mal and Pete were more than guides, they felt like friends and were very personable with interesting stories and antidotes to share along the journey. I may just come back and do this again!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience seeing the beauty of the Cotswolds with our fabulous tour guides, Mal and Pete. They were fun, knowledgeable, and thoughtful, and they tailored the tour to our interests. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and we will certainly be back. The van we were in was spacious and they even had water bottles packed for us. We could stop and take pictures, grab a coffee or quick lunch whenever we wanted. Thank you Mal and Pete! It was just lovely.

The Best Cotswolds Day Trip

Mal and Pete delivered on our expectation of an excellent Cotswolds day trip. They were able to show us the most popular (coach bus) spots as well as the lesser known, more traditional cotswolds villages that most people don't get to see. They also started the trip out checking our preferences and interests to cater the trip to our desires. Mal and Pete shared history, fun facts, and could run a comedy show with their quick wit and classic British humor throughout the ride. We've left inspired to one day stay for a longer trip in a Cotswolds village. Thanks!

I had the most wonderful day exploring the Cotswolds with Mal & Pete. Not only are they locals and filled with information on the area, but they are also a hoot. Mal and I strolled the villages (her quickly getting a sense of my interests and choosing based on what I might like best), while Pete kept the car warm and dropped us/scooped us up as we went along making it very convenient. I learned and laughed a ton and would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.

Cotswold with Mal and Pete was just an amazing experience. These guys had so much knowledge and they were so much fun to talk to! We covered majority of the villages and had time to shop around. Mal had some great suggestions about the local shops. Truly enjoyed my time with them.

Mel and Pete were an absolute delight! Such a fun, informative, and beautiful tour, but what makes it the most special is their clear love for the Cotswolds and fabulous personalities. Very accommodating for my mother as well who doesn’t get around so well. I can’t wait to come back in the summer to see them again! Highly recommend this lovely tour.

A nice taste of the Cotswolds

Good tour exploring the Cotswolds for half a day. Was relaxing and convenient to be picked up and dropped off at the train station, and driven around the Cotswolds seeing popular sites and hidden gems. Appreciated the history context we received as well. The tour guides made sure that we got to do and see the things that interested us. Would have been nice to have our own time while sitting to have cream tea, but that’s just personal preference. Visiting the Cotswolds in the autumn time was wonderful to us, didn’t feel crowded and the weather was cool and pleasant

We loved Mal and Peter and thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the Cotswolds with them. It was absolutely a highlight of our trip to London and we are anxious to return to the area to explore more after getting a taste on our tour. The two of them are a delight, they know the area inside and out, and were able to provide great history, interesting tidbits, recommendations, and showed us things well off the beaten path. We would book this tour again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

We had such a lovely day with Mal and Peter. They had such a wealth of knowledge of the Cotswolds and so many personal stories to share. We had so many great laughs. The tour was totally customizable as we went and we were able to explore at our pace visiting shops in the villages along the way. I highly recommend this tour!!

The quality of the tour depends on the guides. Mal and Peter are brilliant. Mal is very funny, energetic, and very educated in all things Cotswolds. Peter did loads more than drive. His dry humor, winning trivia mind, far travels are a great complement to Mal. We got out for pictures at all the right places, Stanton, Stow in the Wold, Bourton on Water, the Slaughters, Winchcombe, and much more, all tailored to our interests. Also of extreme import is that they are fully licensed and insured whereas there are wannabes who know next to nothing about the history or safety. We laughed, and learned, and enjoyed the entire half day. They icked us up at Ellenborough Park and returned us in time for high tea. Put them on your resource list.

Mal and Pete were absolutely lovely and were excellent guides. They were very accommodating and tailored the tour to our likes on the fly. The Cotswolds are beautiful and this was only made more enjoyable by Mal and Pete and their clear love for their home. They added bits of trivia and history for each town and village and really made the experience come alive. We were in the UK for two weeks and this one day was truly the highlight of our visit. Highly recommended A++

A day out with friends - A great Cotswolds Tour

I was looking for a nice private tour of the Cotswolds for my nephew and me. We had a hard time before our trip and so we were looking forward to a nice and quite time out. Arriving in Moreton-in-Marsh we got picked up by our tour guides Mal and Pete. My first impresion was great, nice guys and when we went off, everything felt just so easy and comfortable. Mal and Pete had so much information to give and both to show us one of the most beautiful places in the UK, even in this whole world. It was the best time of our visit and we enjoyed the whole time. We will visit the Cotswolds again, thanks to Mal and Pete. Both are really sweetharts! This truly was a day out with friends! And that made it special. Thank you Mal and Pete! This was really the best way in our opinion to see the Cotswolds!!! Absolutly recommended!
