We were driven about 30 minutes away from Parma through picturesque towns. We arrived at Virginia's home which was located in a charming Italian town. The views from the terrace were amazing. Virginia and her mom were very welcoming and friendly. The instructions were very simple and straightforward. English was used which facilitated communication. From beginning to end the whole experience was more than we expected. We absolutely recommend learning to make pasta with Virginia and her mom. Be ready to drink delicious wine, eat lost of pasta and a delicious home-made tiramisu.

Virginia was super friendly and welcoming. She really knew her stuff about the food and region. We had an amazing time on the terrace and cooking with her and her cat! We didn’t even mind paying extra for the transfer service as everything was worth it!

We already loved the car ride to the small town where we were going to have the workshop, it’s a beautiful landscape. The workshop itself was a lot of fun too: to learn about the process of making pasta, doing it ourselves and then that awesome dinner at Virginia’s beautiful balcony!

Virginia and her mother were excellent hostess'. They invited us into their home and family. The class was a lot of fun, and after making the pastas, they were prepared and served to us in a traditional Italian manner. Virginia is excited about what she does, and she will share in depth all the knowledge she has on the topic.

Such an incredible experience set in a beautiful location- after learning to make pasta you are able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view with wine. Virginia was knowledgeable and a great teacher and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend- it has been the highlight of our trip.

Virginia, her lovely mother and friend Silvia were excellent hosts for a family experience which both was a nice break from our city-to-city vacation run, and also provided good memories from doing something practical together. We had such a wonderful time and this is a great memory from an overall wonderful trip! The cooking was great, the food was wonderful (especially the tiramisu!), and the views from the balcony are really great. Everyone in my family of six had fun, even the non-cooks!

Virginia and her mother kindly welcomed us into their home and we had a wonderful afternoon enjoying the peacefulness of their town, garden fresh aperitifs, learning to make fresh pasta, then eating that pasta and tiramisu. Virginia was patient with us as we learned to make the pasta, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the terrace while our lunch was prepared.

We learned how to make 2 kinds of pasta and were treated to a great meal in a local home. The small town is lovely and a good portion of the fun is the amazing drive down. You will enjoy the local hospitality and learning some easy and tasty Italian classics.

This was our family’s first cooking class! We had a great time learning how to make pasta and enjoyed eating two dishes with the pasta we made. We have an 8 and 6 year old. This class was a good one to do with young kids. The teacher was very hospitable. We also enjoyed sipping coffee and wine!

Do not miss this experience. In the middle of a mountain stone village you get to make something delicious even though you are a terrible cook. You get to meet a gracious Italian family in their home… I mean really, how much better can it get?

The food was soooo yummy. There was so much food we couldn’t finish it all. Learned a lot about truffles and used a lot of truffles which I thought was so neat! Such a small village with beautiful views. Had a great time!

It was lovely to have the experience in Virginia‘s house in a gorgeous medieval village. The view was fantastic and pasta making was fun. However we thought truffles were included in the menu.

Hello Norah! The description says they’re two separate experiences. In both cases there is written what is included and in the description of "fresh pasta" is not even mentioned truffle. I still wish you’d told me in person so I could sort it out somehow.
