Learning about the grapes that make up the wines of Montefalco, and seeing them grow in the vineyard, was such a memorable experience. The trip to the olive grove was informative and incredibly picturesque. The winery tour and explanation of winemaking is very informative, and includes a few hints into their innovative approach to winemaking. The “light lunch” includes so much food in a lovely tasting room - several courses of delicious local specialties served with very generous pours of the estate’s wines. A fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend.

We went in April which seems to be the off season so we had the tour to ourselves which was amazing because my boyfriend had so many technical questions about growing processes and the tour guide was amazing with answering them!! It was so personalized!! It was more of a tour of the processes and the groves which we liked but it wasn't much about the taste of wine-- but once again we were more into the process so that was fine. We ended up buying both the oil and wine.

I had a great day. A very well structured tour, starting with a visit to the vineyard and presenting the grape varieties and olive groves, located in a wonderful landscape with a panoramic view over Perugia Region, continued with the presentation of the wine and olive oil manufacturing process and ended with tasting of the finished products. A real experience!

Our guide was easygoing and spoke our language well(English). She took us to see part of the vineyards as well as the olive groves, answering our many questions and bringing to light the many aspects of the process of creating high quality wines and olive oils. The tasting lunch exceeded expectations, with great food pairings with which to sample the products. A wonderful family owned and run establishment!
