Great tour with very informative tour guide.
Michael_M, May 2024
Great tour. Pace was good, the tour guide was very informative and was very easy to understand. A sad time in their history but great to have the local perspective. I've been on a tour to the same sites 3 times over the last 8 years with different friends/family but this last tour was the best.
Sombre but worthwhile visit
Wendy_W, May 2024
Sombre but worthwhile trip whilst in Phnom Penh. Our guide Visal was extremely informative and gave us a good insight into the atrocities carried out at these sites during the Pol Pot regime.
Well worth the time.
Bart_T, Apr 2024
Certainly further educated us about The Khmer Rouge era and atrocities. Our guide, Mr. Baboon was excellent. We were able to meet one of two living survivors from prison which will be imprinted on our hearts forever.
Most informative tour we’ve been on for a long time
Charlotte_E, Apr 2024
We went on this tour with our guide Sum CHEATH and it blew us away. He is very informative and passionate about the shockingly brutal history r.e the Cambodian Genocide. Everything was well explained and no detail was butter-coated which made it all the more shocking. We were kept hydrated with cooled water throughout also. Thank you so much for this experience.
Well organised and informative

Very emotional experience and very informative. The trip was organised perfectly, with good communication about pick up
Great tour with personal stories
ubomra_K, Apr 2024
This tour was extremely sad. Baboon told us personal story of his mom what made it more real and terrifying. Definitely recommend this short tour.
Incredible Tour and Guide

Baboon was an incredible tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, insightful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Baboon and this tour to anyone that comes to Phnom Penh.

The trip was well-managed. Our guide was communicative and on time, incredibly knowledgeable, and respectful.
Good experience
Henning_P, Apr 2024
Pick up and drop off at the hotel, good explanation through the whole excursion. This is not a trip to expect happiness, it dives into the dark history of Khmer Rouge
A horrific subject but well delivered
Jaye_A, Apr 2024
Sum Cheath was an excellent guide and I appreciated the information he delivered during the tour. The tour is obviously hard to hear and be a part of but it was full of information. Sum Cheath was cheery in places where it was respectful but he was passionate and connected to the subject he was talking about. I could not have asked for a better tour guide. Alongside this, the bus was comfortable with good Aircon and there was a constant supply of bottled cold water as well. The pick up point was easy to find and everything was on time.
Very knowledgeable and patient guide

Great tour with an interesting guide, I recommend. The killing fields and prison is a must to see in Phnom Penh
Interesting and thought provoking
Mark_D, Apr 2024
Obviously not pleasurable due to the nature of the tour, but the guide definitely brought the pain the people had to suffer.
Thought-provoking tour, great guide!
Amelia_C, Apr 2024
A deeply thought-provoking but memorable experience. Mr Baboon was a great guide - he spoke English very well and was super knowledgable. He even shared his restaurant recommendations and kindly dropped us off there at the end of our tour.
Killing Fields and S-21 Tour
Lawrence_K, Apr 2024
Excellent yet harrowing tour. Sum Cheath was very knowledgeable and bottles of water were free and "unlimited"
Rememberable Tour, Great Tour Guide, 5star!
Olivia_W, Apr 2024
This was a very intellectual and informative tour, especially due to Sum Cheath’s Knowledge. Sum Cheath also can speak great English and is so polite and attentive. He was a great tour guide and made our experience even more surreal. This tour is very sad and the history behind it will leave you speechless. The trip was very organised and definitely worth every penny. While at both of these places we had the pleasure to meet 2 survivors who had experienced these horrific events, they had both written books and were there to give an insight on their experiences with the option to buy their book. This book is only $10, which isn’t much in retrospect of what they have been through. I would definitely advise tourists who can spare the change to buy it, I’m sure it will go a long way to help them and they seem very appreciative of it. We want to send massive thanks to our tour guide Sum Cheath and the driver! Would highly recommend!
A must see for all visiting Cambodia
Holly_J, Apr 2024
Such an important part of Cambodian history to understand. Our guide Mr Baboon shared the morning with us explaining the atrocities that occurred in a sensitive, powerful, personal and honest way. An absolutely moving experience that demonstrates the resilience of the Cambodian people. Thank you for such an informative tour.
Sad but important history
Khemarey_K, Mar 2024
Not an easy visit to do. I’m glad I chose to go with a tour guide. The guide was very informed and knowledgeable.
Educational and interesting
Sophie_T, Mar 2024
Loved this trip. The guide was so good and it was so educational and interesting to listen to the history that happened not that long ago (which I was surprised at) and I would 100% recommend this trip to others. It’s a must see
We learned a lot
Joseph_F, Mar 2024
