First of all I have to say that we were lucky as it was only me and my boyfriend on the tour. So it was very exclusive! We had an absolutely amazing day with Steven. He was so smart, knowledgeable and great to be around. He had an answer to every question we had. We were also lucky to see the lions! The braai was delicious and prepared with such passion and love. The tour was definitely a highlight of our holiday and we would highly recommend it to everybody!

Knowledgeable guide; Elephants, zebras, and plenty of antelope types in a national park setting

Great guide and owner; timely transportation to and from the hotel; wonderful enclosed land cruiser on a chilly, windy day; great lunch braai with meats, sides, and drinks; good game veiwing in an expansive national park. It was amazing to have a group of elephants walk around both sides of the land cruiser as they moved through the park. It was good day and i would do it again.

To see the giant animals play in the mud as if they were children was a thrill. To see the herd interact and be at peace was a moving experience. Our guide, Steve, did an extraordinary job in taking us close to the elephants so much so that we could almost count the eyelashes on their eyes. He also explained some of the behavioral traits of the big beasts. Steve's barbequing skills do also merit an honorable mention. Steve took the trouble to introduce us to other animals as we drove through the beautiful landscape. Thanks to all, Ulrike and Andrew

This full day safari benefitted hugely from Steve’s familiarity with Addo. We saw numerous elephant herds, large and small. It was a hot day so they were understandably gathered around the various watering holes. There was time enough to witness their social interactions, assisted by Steve’s explanations. Cape buffalo, zebra and several species of buck dotted the landscape and were easy to observe where the thicket gave way to more open pastures. The highlight was perhaps seeing three female lions stalking through an area of long grass. The longish day was broken up by a good braii, enjoyed in a shaded area. Five stars, no problem.

We had an amazing day at Addo and saw lots animals in their natural habitat.We had an amazing guide Steve who went out of his way to show us and explain things about the Park. He cooked an amazing brain which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you do only one thing whilst in SA this is a must do !! Thank you for the memories !!

i have mixed feelings about this place. we had been on safari in kenya and tanzania so we were spoilt as we saw alot of animals. i know that every day is different and you may not see as many in addo elephant park or any other park. there is only one lion pride in the whole park as we found out so the chances of seeing them were pretty slim, but thats the chance you take. but we just didnt see much on the day at all. it was lovely scenery and our guide stephen was wonderful and tryed so had to find the lions or something. we had a lovely lunch but it took so long. i think they knew there wasnt much round. we would of been happier to go back early. i think it would be better if they had a safari and maybe more educational talks, just something different to other safaris as they havent got as many animals in there as other places. its a wonderful place but we did go right out of our way to go to addo's on our trip so thats why i gave it that score. i would recommend it to anyone as the scenery is lovely but i have to say we had a good day but were disappointed.

So many beautiful elephants

We had a lovely day and saw over 100 elephants, lots of kudu, warthogs, zebra and baboons. Our guide Siya was very knowledgeable and good at spotting creatures large and small (dung beetles)! We really enjoyed it. The lunchtime braai was so delicious also which was a big bonus.

Out tour guide Steve was fantastic, We saw so many elephants up Close and other animals too, it truly was the best experience by far. Coupled with the wonderful lunch he prepared a cooked. I highly recommend this trip!

From pick up at the hotel in the morning to drop off at the end of the day, everything was brilliant. Our tour guide shared her amazingly knowledge with us in an interesting and amusing manner. I saw so many elephants along with kudu, baboons, buffalo, zebra, ostrich and baboons. Even the dung beetle were fascinating. Lunch was gorgeous and the coffee stop in the open bush was surreal. Fantastic day out.

This full day guided safari in Addo Elephant Park was fabulous. We saw lots of elephants plus several other animals: Zebras; Buffalo; Kudu; Warthogs and even a Dungbeetle struggling to move it's ball of elephant do-do. The Braai at lunchtime was excellent and our guide, Sia, was very knowledgeable and helpful. As most of the roads in the park are unmade, it's much safer to use a local tour. A highly recommended experience.

Wonderful experience. Game ranger Steve was very well informed and turned the experience into one of fun and learning. The trip was birthday gift for 7 year old animal lover. She enjoyed it and continues to share about her experience.

What a great experience, I really wanted to see elephants and boy did I get my moneys worth. Also we’re able to track the lions and saw them up close. The braii was like top chef quality. And our guide Steven went above and beyond to make sure we able to see as much as possible, and had so much knowledge about the park and animals. Highly recommend.

Everything was fine. Great day in Addo Park with a lot of wonderful picture I was able to take home. Was a great braai too. The cars are very good for this tip. We had a wonderful day in Addo guided by Stephen who was informative and helpful. After a morning in which we saw many animals as well, of course, elephants we enjoyed a lovely bbq. In the afternoon we went lion hunting, unfortunately to no avail, but we did see other wildlife. If I have one small complaint it is that spending 4 hours looking for a lion was too long. However, I do highly recommend the excursion.
