Overview

Immerse yourself in the romance of medieval times with a dining experience in Prague. Leave the modern world behind as you step into a candle-lit tavern, and kick off the evening with a mug of beer or glass of wine. Sit down to five generous courses of medieval food, as jugglers take the stage alongside belly dancers and swordsmen. What To Expect

Your evening begins by making your way to the Krčma U Pavouka restaurant in Prague. There you’ll head into this atmospheric medieval-styled restaurant illuminated by candlelight.

Sitting down at a shared table you’ll get settled in with a drink, the first of your unlimited drinks, with beer, wine, and soft drink to choose from—if you’ve booked the 5-course meal. You’ll then be brought the first dish of your 3- or 5-course meal, based on your pre-selected choice of chicken, pork, fish, vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free.

As you dine and take in the restaurant’s ambience, enjoy over 2 hours of live medieval music being performed for you. To accompany the music, you’ll be entertained by actors playing characters, as well as jugglers, swordsmen, fire twirlers, and belly dancers.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

An evening of food, "fights", fantastic fun and far too much alcohol was had by everyone on this Medieval night in the old cellars of Prague. Very well organised, live traditional music, belly dancers, pirates and fire eaters between a 5 course meal and as much beer, wine or soft drinks you can drink between 7.45 - 10.15pm. Don't worry if you don't like one of the courses you will still be full. One of the reviews says so cutlery was available, maybe they listened to that because there was cutlery in a pot in the middle of the table if you wanted. The professional musicians and dancers rallied us all to clap and there was some friendly encouragement to join in the dance if you wanted. All great fun for the night. We will recommend this to others.

HORRIBLE! THE PICTURE OF THE SEATING IS FALSE.

We were placed at a table of 25 and were in the worse seats possible. Since our Viator booking gave us these horrible seats we had no choice but to be put in a corner where 10 people had to move to let us in or out. We were extremely frightened that we would be trapped if anything happened. We could not see any of the show and then when fire throwers arrived I had a panic attack out of fear of what could happen to us. We had to leave immediately. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURE OF THE SEATING! It was a nightmare. The food was not bad, but very slow.

Medieval Dinner

The venue and acts were good and the food was okay but the lack of choices for drinks was very poor. They only served beer and red and white wine. The white wine was undrinkable and when asked for a lemonade this was flat. Some of the servers were very rude and would ignore you when you asked them for extra drinks. It was very cramped and if you sat on the end (like we did) you ended up having to pass food and drinks down the table as the servers could not get to both ends as the table as the chairs were so close together.

Good was alright, endless drinks made it worth it. Wish there was a menu available before. Performances were good but brief. Table mates made it much more enjoyable. LOVE THE ENDLESS WINE!!!!! Too expensive for our taste

Worst ever

No memorable experience except the extremely loud noise and dark atmosphere. Event started at 1945 and main course served at 2130 but so dark couldn’t see the dish. Pork knuckle was tasty but couldn’t see meat clearly from the fat and skin. This adventure is truly for younger crowd and those that like all beer one can drink.

We Left Early

Wooden bench seats, no padding. Very crowded in a basement setting. We had a 6 person table with 7 people crammed in. We were seated facing the opposite direction of the "so called entertainment". The "so called entertainers" performed in the walkway between the crowded tables - dodging the servers with the food and drink. Their "entertainment" all occurred behind our backs, since we were seated facing the opposite direction. Food was okay - 4 stars out of 5. The wine was terrible (both the red and the white) - 1 star out of 5. Beer was okay. Appeared to be no limit to how much beer they would serve someone. Some people were getting drunk on beer. We left early.

Very Touristy - But a Fun Time

The best things about the evening were definitely the venue and the performers. The food was hit and miss - first 3 courses were very good with the mushroom soup being excellent. My husband had pork - it was so dark that it was hard to tell what was fat and what was meat. I had the chicken and it was very good. Dessert was just an OK cake. Beer flowed and was fine but the wine was horrible. The only bad thing is that the seating is assigned when you book - not when you get there. There were 4 of us and we were seated at a table with 8 guys from The Netherlands. We had a good view of the performers and the entire room so we had no complaints...but we would not have been happy with some of the other tables. All in all, a very touristy but fun time.

The show was awesome! Weather there were big performances or small ones involving less people from the audience, it was indeed over 2 hours. The performers were very entertaining and talented. I'm giving 5 stars for the show and a 3 for the food. This is not a place for you to have good food, but an experience. The decor and the show makes the night, we and everybody from our group had a wonderful time. I recommend it 100%

What a fantastic evening!! What a brilliant set up in a dark cellar. Great atmosphere, so much tasty food. Entertainment was so well done for every nationality. Met some lovely people on our shared table and had so much fun. Highly recommend this event!!!
