We definitely enjoyed our trip to Karlstejn Castle and to the Koneprusy Caves. Our guide, Joseph, shared a great deal of information, especially at the caves since he was able to draw on his geology background. This really helped because the tour at the caves was in Czech and Joseph translated everything for us and added additional information. Karlstejn Castle was stunning and the guide at the castle was also very knowledgeable. The included lunch near the castle was also great. We highly recommend this day trip from Prague.

Relaxing and Memorable Day

Our guide Paul was incredibly knowledgeable about both the caves and the castle. He spent a lot of time discussing the culture and history of Prague in addition to these attractions during the short drive. The lunch was especially memorable as we discussed personal hobbies and traditions. This is a great way to see something outside of the city and learn a bit more history about Czechia.

Joseph from Uniline was a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guide. He provided clear information and instructions ahead of the tour and lots of information about the things we saw on the day. He shared his specialist knowledge at the Koneprusy Caves, provided a good overview of the Karlstejn castle and quarry. He gave us a lot of background information about the Czech Republic throughout the day and was on hand to make sure our dietary requirements were catered for at the lunch, which was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour and Joseph to prospective clients.

A personal tour - fabulous!

We had a fantastic tour with Joseph. We were expecting a small tour but ended up with a personal tour for 2 - a real bonus! Joseph was an excellent guide- very personable and friendly and we learnt so much about Czech history and culture. The caves were really interesting and Joseph’s own knowledge was great. The castle and lunch were very enjoyable too. A great way to spend our last day in Prague! Would highly recommend.

Amazing views, great value, loved it!

The three people in my group had an amazing time on this tour (late-20s women)! The morning started with a visit to the caves which was even cooler in person than we could have imagined. We learned all sorts of interesting facts about the geological history of the caves and it was one of my favorite parts of my entire vacation to Czechia. Then, we went to the castle which was an amazing photo opportunity as we had some extra time to explore on our own when we first arrived. The lunch we enjoyed after the castle was super delicious. Our tour guide/host, Paul, was fantastic! He was friendly, fun to talk with, answered all sorts of questions for us, and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this experience, it was a great value. My friends and I will cherish the memories we made together on this tour for many years to come!

Incredible half-day trip from Prague

We took this tour to see the Koněprusy caves and Karlstejn castle, and it exceeded our expectations! We were picked up and driven by our guide Pavel (Paul) who was very friendly, timely, a great driver and knowledgeable. I think we were lucky because the other guide Joseph was also present for the whole trip, because he took another van of people from different hotels. This way we basically had 2 great tour guides the whole time! The caves were breathtaking and super interesting, especially all the facts that Joseph told us while we were there. The castle is very beautiful and the views are incredible in this area. The castle tour itself was actually done by a separate guide (who works there) but she was awesome as well. Afterwards we had a great traditional meal with everyone, and they even stopped off at the Quarry nearby to see some more cool views. HIGHLY recommend this trip, worth every penny.

This was the best tour of our ten-day trip. The absolute highlight of the tour was the guide, Joseph (Josef?). Joseph was thoughtful, animated, and so well-versed in the history and geology of Prague and the surrounding areas. His obvious pride in the best parts of Czech culture, and understanding of ancient and recent history kept us all engaged for the trip. His knowledge of Geology was especially useful in the caves, and we were able to take our time and really gain a lot of understanding of the significance of what had been found there. Our lunch was delightful - in a small restaurant near the castle. We ate with another tour (eight of us in total) and got to experience some traditional Czech fair. Again, Joseph's recommendations were en pointe in all regards - loved the cabbage soup and honey cake for dessert! The castle tour was given by someone else, but it was also good. Even after dropping us off, Joseph provided us with additional valuable advice as to how we should approach sight-seeing in Prague, and some of the things he thought we might like. Based on that, we went to an old library we might otherwise not have seen, and it was one of the best things we saw that day. You will not regret this tour. It's fantastic. If you're lucky enough to have Joseph as a guide, you'll be in for a great time, no doubt.

Czech countryside tour

Karlsteijn castle was the highlight. Fascinating place. The caves were interesting too. The tour could probably have done with one more major site of interest.

The caves were beyond expectations and the castle was an experience we will never forget…Jospeh’s knowledge of geology was such a nice touch because he was so passionate about the caves and his passion for Prague made the excursion all the better.
