    Don’t Miss This Tour!
    Barbara_S, Apr 2024
This was absolutely our favorite day trip out of Prague! Petr was fantastic offering something for everyone. Why do just Terazin when you can see so much more on his tour. He treated us at a cafe with coffee and a delectable sweet and later in the day at a traditional Czech restaurant in the countryside. We enjoyed all the food on the trip, but today’s was the BEST.
    Delicious food and magnificent sights

    A Beautiful and Educational Day!

Pete was an exceptional guide with a solid understanding of the history associated with both sites and genuinely wanted to spend time with us. He was also so attentive to the "little" details from ensuring everyone's comfort in the vehicle to offering them a selection of local beverages during transit. I was especially appreciative of the time spent at Terezin both in the small fortress and in the ghetto and the personal insights Pete offered about Nazi occupation. Finally, while you will not actually visit Switzerland during this tour, you will certainly leave with an understanding about why the region is know as Bohemia Switzerland and the beautiful landscapes it offers.

    Don't hesitate. Take this tour.
    Jeff_J, Apr 2024
Peter went above and beyond in every respect. The deserts were overwhelmingly good. The lunch was at a beautiful place we never would have found just steps from the German border. And the food. Do much and so good. Peter even provided the Euros for the bathroom for some who did not have put of generosity. The time went over a little because everyone was having such a great time. Terezin was so sobering but was leavened with the breathtaking beauty of Bavaria. Peter was very knowledgeable. If I could give 20 stars I would. Don't hesitate. Take this tour.

    Incredible Day and Evening!
    Karyn_S, Mar 2024
Peter was absolutely wonderful. From our early morning start to evening drop off, he regaled us with nonstop historical stories and commentary about life in the Czech Rep. This young man is BRILLIANT (and friendly, easy-going, and charming) and we appreciated every minute. We hope to find him again in the future. As far as the Terezin camp and the scenic Bohemian Switzerland tours, both were incredible in their respective ways. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

What a moving review. Thank you for it! It was my pleasure and privilege to meet you, friends. Come back to Bohemia, Pete
    Memorable Day Trip
    Joani_S, Mar 2024
So glad that I booked this day tour during my recent visit to Prague. Petr was a fantastic guide and I was grateful that I got to experience areas of the Czech Republic (and Germany) outside of the city. Petr went above and beyond is providing a comfortable and memorable experience throughout the day, from various stops to pointing out important sites along the drive. Having a guide for the Terezin Camp was extremely beneficial for understanding the role that Terezin played before and during the war, which was information I previously was unaware of. In addition, being able to see areas of the country that you would have to have a vehicle to access made the experience that much more worthwhile. Petr also brought us to some great places for local Czech baked goods and lunch, both of which were some of the best I had during my trip. Highly recommend this day trip for anyone visiting Prague!

    An Amazing Adventure!
    Jay_V, Jan 2024
This was an incredible experience!! Although visiting the Terezin Camp was extremely emotional it should not be missed. The coffee and desert at the old railway station was the perfect Segway to the hike in Bohemian Switzerland. It was a beautiful place made more magical by the recent snow. Petra is a superb tour guide. He not only shared his wealth of Czech history along the journey but many stories of his childhood over a delicious lunch in the national park. We were lucky to have just one other couple on the excursion with us. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we were sad to see it end.

    great experience and guide
    Edurne_A, Dec 2023
Great experience. the place and itinerary was carefully thought. very helpful guide who even picked us right beneath the apartment. very reduced group which led to be more cozy and familiar. The guide explained well all the history and stops and made the trip fun. due to the weather, he equiped all of us with the necessary garment and should we have had any inconvenience he adapted to the situation. Very recommended if you want to have a nice time visiting not so ordinary emplacements. a different type of tourism.

    Not that great!
    Lucille_L, Nov 2023
First of all, the tour guide called me two days before the tour to offer me to cancel the reservation I had and pay him directly offering me a discount! The name of the tour is a rip-off, my travel partner thought we were going to Switzerland.... we were very far from Switzerland! We were already running late for the first visit. The tour of the Terezin concentration camp was awesome. The museum was useless, it was a waste of time considering we were short on time. We didn't brought water with us since it was supposed to be included, we did not get water and did not stop nowhere where we could buy water. Lunch wasn't in a castle as mentionned in a description, but good. We were told we were going to visit a medieval town, we only drove through the town, it would have been nice to have a few minutes to take pictures. Big disapointment! Tiske Steny was great and beautiful. We were running so late that by the time we got to bastel bridge, it was alreay dark and we coudln't see anything. The tour guide made us walk in the woods at dark and it was dangerous, it triped over a root and almost felt. This was supposed to be the highlight of the day, but we couldn't see anything, this was a huge disapointment! It was expensive for what it was!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm really sorry you were disappointed. Let me address some of your points. I try not to waste people's time. I'm sorry you considered it a waste of time to visit a Jewish holocaust museum. I feel it's quite important to see it when you come to Terezin. The official name of the national park - Bohemian Switzerland NP - is indeed a little confusing. However, it is not my invention and I explained its background. Regarding water, I'm really sorry you didn't hear me offering it, as I had dozens of bottles in the back of my van (as well as coffee and tea). I checked that it was offered multiple times with the other passengers who all rated the tour with 5 stars. I don't believe I advertise the lunch to be at a castle. It is a former hunting chateau/lodge. I'm glad you at least liked the food. Everyone always does. It's a great place. Regarding the medieval town, we did actually stop there. It was the coffee and desert break that everybody enjoyed so much. We later drove through the town and I would have loved to stop and let you take more pictures if only you had said something. I am always open to tailoring the tour to people's likes. And concerning the daylight, it is an issue in November and December and I should have done a better job saving more of it for the final stop. I almost always do. However, I did not make anyone do anything dangerous. This was confirmed by the other passengers who were amazed by the view of the beautifully lit up Elbe valley below us. I wish you more success with picking a tour that better fits your standards next time.
    Great experience.

Peter our tour guide was kind, friendly, awesome. The places we went for breakfast and lunch had delicious food. He is very informative and gave us a lot information about his country. Thank you so much Peter.
Tour was right up there with Normandy tour!
    Sheri_L, Oct 2023
There wasn't anything in the tour that we didn't like. Petr was an excellent Guide. I think one of best things we liked was how Petr took us for coffee and snack in a restaurant where we talked together as a group and got to know each other a little. Going on a tour with strangers can be a little uneasy but this "bonding" experience really helped us all get along and enjoy the experience together. We absolutely loved this experience!
You will not regret this experience!!!
    RuthVelina_V, Sep 2023
This whole excursion was very memorable. Petr was just wonderful as a guide. He took us to the Terezin camp, where we had a guided tour (and we were the first of the day, so the memorial was empty which really added to the impact of the experience). Petr filled in all of the gaps that the guide missed. He then took us for really great coffee and sweets for breakfast, followed by a really cool hike through the Bohemia Switzerland park on the Czech side. Then a fully paid for and delicious lunch, followed by more Bohemia park on the German side. It was just amazing. Of all the excursions we've done, this one was by far our favorite, and somehow the least expensive. Thanks Petr!
    Hotel pick up timely....
    Linda_C, Sep 2023
Hotel pick up timely. Small group travel pleasant in a van. Did Terezin first before any large groups. Mild hiking in National Park.
    Historic and natural highlights

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Prague. Petr, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic which lead to a super interesting and fun day. An absolute must when visiting Prague!
    Wonderful Well-rounded Tour
    Janet_D, Aug 2023
Peter is an excellent tour guide, providing a well thought-out itinerary with a variety of things to do and see. The stops for local coffee and dessert and then later luncheon were highlights in treating us to local cuisine. While the concentration camp visit in the morning was sobering, the Bastei Bridge and the Tisá Sandstone Labyrinth were breath-taking. Pick up and drop off at our hotel went perfectly without a hitch.
    A great tour with Peter
    Matthrw_B, Aug 2023
I had a great time with Peter and his tour. He was a very friendly and great tour guide, very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better guide to some me around

    A Must do Trip
    Randel_Z, Jul 2023
Peter was great. He gave us so much information. Terezin was sobering but Peter made the tour engaging. Bohemian Switzerland is a must. We also visited the German side. Ending the day trip with an excellent meal capped the experience
    Must see
    Daniel_S, Jul 2023
As expected, the trip started our somber as we visited the Camp, or Ghetto. It was something I needed to see. But the rest of the trip was amazing. The rock (sandstone) formations and cliffs were spectacular. And Peter from Discover Bohemia was extremely knowledgeable, especially about the history of the area including the Communist and Nazi eras.
