What To Expect

Meet your friendly guide in central Prague and after an introduction, delve into the beautiful streets as darkness falls.

View the handsome National Theatre (Národní Divadlo), lit up in the dusk, and hear about its place as a symbol of Czech identity. Then, walk to the Legion Bridge (Most Legií) on the River Vltava, and absorb the waterside panoramas as your guide points out the floodlit landmarks.

Continue into the charming Lesser Town (Mala Strana) and admire the area’s prettily lit Baroque churches and mansions, all set against the illuminated castle walls. Then, make your way up the hill to visit Prague Castle. From this vantage point, admire Prague as the city lights up for the evening.

Your tour concludes at the Rudolfinum, the stately concert and arts auditorium overlooking the Vltava. Admire the 19th-century neoclassical building, replete with illuminated columns and balustrades, and hear how it is home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

Prague best scene at night

We met with Katerine for our night tour and we were late because we went to the wrong place. After a few calls, she helped guide us to the right meeting place. Prague is great to see at night, and very safe. There is also alot less crowds and no lines. It ended up just being us 2 which was great because we got personalized tour and she even helped recommend a place for late dinner. We learned alot from her and her pictures and she gave us some great tips for getting around. It was an enjoyable evening and a must do when visiting Prague.
Christian is Outstanding, fun, informative and knowledgeable.

He first gave us the history lesson of the layout and history of the land. Then we began our Walking tour. The pace was adjusted to us. We never felt rushed. His English was excellent. Highly recommend his services and the company PragueLocalFriends.com The prague by night walking tour is a must.

Beautiful by night and so very safe. We in the USA could learn much from the folks in Prague. The city is clean and friendly and even though we walked in some dark areas we always felt safe. The young lad who led our tour was GREAT

Magical. Even in the winter, this tour was magical and cold. We met our guide at the Opera House, walked across the river, wandered through Mala Strana, and made the trek up to the castle. I was amazed at how easy it was to wander into the castle complex at night. This tour is part of what convinced me that Prague is as magical as everyone says it is. The trek up to the castle and winding through the streets of Mala Strana is absolutely a fairy tale. Since we were the only people on our tour, our guide was kind enough to walk back with us to ensure that we were able to find our hotel. She also provided restaurant recommendations and things to be wary of when it comes to choosing a restaurant. Her tips did not steer us wrong. :

The Prague by Night Tour was terrific. We were very lucky to have our tour be with just our family which made it extra special. Emma our tour guide was very funny and knew a great deal about everything we toured that evening. We would highly recommend this tour.

We decided to do this tour on our first night in Prague. We were met by our tour guide Emma - on time and as promised - she was engaging and a passionate story teller with a quick with. We loved walking around the castle precinct and were awestruck by the view of St Vitus Cathedral. Prague is beautiful by day but magical by night. We highly recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent and well worth the money. There were only two of us and our awesome guide Jachym which really made it a personable and unique experience. Jachym was very knowledgeable and funny with a quick wit. We threw a lot of questions at him and he easily answered them all. The next day I really saw Prague differently after waking around and learning so much about the history and culture. Thank you!

We are glad we made this our first activity in Prague as it gave us an interesting overview of the history and political thought of the Czech Republic. We had a magnificent view of the city from the vantage point of the Prague Castle. Our guide, Christian, who introduced the sweet wafer Koronada to us, was fantastically informative, had a good sense of history and a great sense of humor. We highly recommend this tour.

What an excellent tour. Katrin a very friendly, informative and helpful guide who is always smiling. She showed us a great route through the city quarters and it was great value for money. It is certainly worth considering a nighttime tour as you do not have the normal levels of tourist congestion.
