Tour that you won't forget and will learn alot! Highly recommend!
Rhona_W, Apr 2024
Jack was amazing! He told us so much information and interesting tidbits. We are still talking about what we learned. He kept us on edge with the saga of the Anthropoid and all of the interesting parts of WW2 and the Czech resistance. We stopped at several areas that you would otherwise miss that had such significance. Jack also gave us insights into the Czech's culture today. This was one of the best tours we have ever been on (and we've been on dozens!).
WWIi tour with Jaca
elena_k, Aug 2022
Our family, 2 adults + 9 year old son, have truly enjoyed tour conducted by Jaca. Jaca was enthusiastic about covering a complex story of WIWIII, he also added historic/political perspective pre- WWII. Overall , it was very engaging tour with tons of historic details. The time flew by despite walking 3.5 hours on hot August day in Prague.
Filled in the historical bits & pieces !

We had the pleasure of having Michal as our guide because: wow ! He didn't mind that we were the only ones taking the tour and we got the full experience. He knows what he is taking about, English was spot on, the stories were interesting and we really enjoyed ourselves. We are not the most sociable of talkative people but Michal made us feel as ease and didn't mind. He showed us really great spots in Prague and made sure we learned a lot. The tour really covers the history of Prague during the war and shares a story of hope, strength, courage and a lot of national pride :-) take the tour if you are in Prague, you will not regret it.
Unique to Praha

Great way to learn about specific WW2 facts on Praha. We learned so much. I have been to Praha many times and never knew these facts! Would highly recommend. Michael was great and made the tour! He was very thoughtful in our walking to make sure we had a place to sit and relax to learn about the historical stories. He was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. We never felt like we were on a time limit. He recommended many books and movies that we have already watched on our way home. Great Czech history and niche stories you would not hear other places

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It's so great to hear that travelers follow up on our recommendations and watch or read more about our history! Also, watch out for more - next time you'll come it is very likely we'll have some new day trips about WWII in CZ - so stay tuned! :)

Excellent guide Honza (Jack) who was extremely knowledgeable. We were very fortunate to be the only 2 people doing the tour. Jack made the tour very interesting and engaging.
Excellent tour
Road403499, Aug 2019
Excellent tour - well and truly exceeded my expectations. The tour was filled with interesting history and tailored to my area of interest - finance and economics. The tour was framed around one specific event with several sites visited. My guide Jack had great English and is a natural story teller.
A must for WW2 buffs

Our guide Michal was marvellous and obviously very passionate about Prague’s WW2 history. My wife and I were the only people on this walking guided around the city visiting the historical points including the crypt of the church of St Cyril & Methodius, where we learned details of operation Anthropoid, the aftermath and the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. It was a sombre point of the tour and a time of reflection to appreciate immense the bravery of the Czech soldiers. Michal has obviously huge knowledge of history and we often went ‘off topic’ to discuss other aspects of WW2. Michal provided old pictures to support his tour which helped us understand what we were looking at. If you are interested in WW2 history we can highly recommend this tour of Prague. Michal was an encyclopaedia of information and it was an absolute pleasure doing this guided tour of Prague’s WW2 history.

Michael was excellent, the vastness of his knowledge was amazing. It was just four of us so we got a lot of personal attention and all questions answered. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested to World War II and Prague
Great Walking Tour and Real Heroes

Spent a great few hours with Michal about two weeks ago. For a young man, he's very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. The visit to the visit to the church and the memorial to the Czech operatives is very moving. Recommend this to anyone interested in WWII.

Michal led a wonderful tour that covered much of the WWII history in Praha- my husband studies WWII history and Michal answered all of his questions and taught us so much unique history! We are very glad we did the tour. We would not have found many of the historical landmarks without him. He also used great pics to illustrate how things have changed since WWII. 100 recommend this tour if you're interested in history and stories about czech heroes.

Our guide, Michal, was exceptional. He was flexible in rescheduling our tour after our flight was cancelled, and tailored the tour to meet the interests of both my WWII buff husband and our 10 year old. Very informative tour that really brought history to life!

This tour was amazing - out tour guide, Honza was really knowledgeable and shared so much history with us. He was able to tailor the tour to our specific interests and share more details and time on the aspects of the history that we hadn't known yet. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in what happened in Prague during World War II. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our guide, Honza, I hope that I'm spelling it correctly was wonderful. He was born and raised in the Czech Republic and his grandparents lived through the WWII invasion as well as Communism 1945-1989. Honza was professional, extremely knowledgeable, interesting and engaging. He never rushed the tour and we proceeded at a leisurely pace, even stopping in at a local coffee shop for tea. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this historical tour and, if possible, request Honza as your tour guide. Enjoy!!!
