Overview
Visit the archeological site of Cacaxtla, a sprawling palace complex and cultural centerpiece of Tlaxcala. Known for its elaborate and brightly-colored frescoes painted by artists throughout what is now Mexico, the complex centers around two main plazas surrounded by a labyrinth of rooms and passageways. Then visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotlan, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared in 1541.

A really great tour. I was the only one on the tour which was nice. Guide explained things very, a very good pace and took good photos. Really enjoyed the mix of the archaeological site and towns.

Cacaxtla was a very interesting archeological site. The small city of Tlaxcala was very pretty and filled with history. All a short drive from Puebla. Ronald was a terrific English speaking guide!! Very nice and informative!

Cacaxtla è un sito archeologico unico in Messico perché è l'unico con resti di affreschi , alcuni in ottimo stato , a parte questo il resto è poco interessante. Tlaxcala è una cittadina interessante non solo per le chiese ma per il palazzo del gobierno con colorati murales degli anni 50 sulla storia degli indigeni locali. Ottima la guida
