      We had a great day with Yuery in Puerto Plata! It was nice being able to do a "small group" tour, we had a group of 5 and just 2 others joined. Yuery was fun and informative, he was also accommodating when we all decided to skip one of the planned tour stops (cigar factory) and spend a bit more time at another stop. Highly recommend this day tour with Yuery, you won't regret it!

      For our trip we had Yeury. The tour went through a lot of places in the city, all the food / drinks we got to try in the factories were quite good. The tour guide explained the history and the different places and their meaning whenever there was an explanation. Overall the tour was really good and the tour guide was friendly and courteous.

      Aribel was an amazing driver. Very kind and respectful. He took us on an amazing rum tour and chocolate tasting tour. He even took us to the beach which wasn’t included in the tour. Amazing person must book with him!!!

      Julio picked us at Taxi stand as we were instructed to do. Thought we would have a language barrier , but was able to communicate ( little English /Spanish) Had the full tour and enjoyed same. Julio took time to explain to us about the culture , even got extra to our tour

      So before we even made it to the amber cove port , the company was excellent with communicating with us the details about where to meet, asking us about what we wanted to see, and preparing us for what the tour would look like the day of! We were a family of 6 adults and 1 child, with all different “tour operators” they Accommodated us all to where we could be together ! Our tour guide (Aribel )was amazing to us all and especially with children (my son) . Aribel told us from the very beginning he was not only our guide and driver but also, our protection, paparazzi, and educator and he excelled all of our expectations and made the tour one we will never forget ! 10/10 def recommend this company and our tour operator/ friend Aribel ! (Pronounced O-lly -iVa)

      Aribel was very knowledgeable and personable. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He went over and above! We loved everything about this tour. He took us to the Rum Distillery and Chocolate Shop, then to a cigar shop where we made our own cigar. Then we visited the church and fort.

      Friendly driver and nice air conditioning for the tour. Just know that tourist prices are different from locals prices on your tour. Overall it was a great experience having a private tour.

      City tour, great way to see the culture of the Island. Only downside to tour was language barrier. Was hard to understand English, so was quite a lot.

      I love the fact that our tour guide Jose asked us where we wanted to go so he took us on rum tour took us on a chocolate tour. I went to the pink Street and I went to the street street with umbrellas on it and it was just so cool and he was very informative and laid-back.

      We enjoyed the afternoon with Aribel. Great communication prior letting us know when and where he would pick us up. Short drive into town for just me and my wife. We hit all the tourists spots of course. We got to decide what we wanted to do and see. Wife likes to shop so we started at the rum factory, then over to chocolate shop followed by the Ambar mine shop. Later, we walked to Umbrella street, played dominoes, onto the town park, then down to see pink street. We had a lovely afternoon mainly due to the fact that we came into town after the cruise ships had left port so it was very calm and a great time to take pics. We ended our tour at the Puerto Plata sign for more obligatory pics and watched the sun start to go down over the bay by the Fort. Aribel was attentive and we felt like we really got to know him and his personality. He went the extra mile for us by putting our chocolate that we had bought earlier in a fridge of a local shop so it wouldn’t melt. Nice tour to see the town. Would recommend if you only have a half day and want to see some of downtown.
