The private tour with Samuel was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable about the islands, and spent a lot of time explaining the language and cultures of people on the islands! I would highly recommend this tour with Samuel!

experience pristine pre-inca culture

our trip was nice with an english guide, who explained in detail all the history, culture, agriculture and plants of uros and taquile. They are both people living on the Titicaca lake, but with very different lifestyle. Uros people live selfmade floating island, Taqueile people do terraces agriculture. They have a rich textile skills recognized by unesco. Scenary on Taquile is very beautiful. We had a nice lunch on the island overlooking titicaca lake. I highly recommend the tour

This is a good boat tour of Lake Titicaca, arrangements were good, a good speedboat, good English speaking guide etc. Urus island was ok to get some idea of the manmade islands and their lifestyle but Taquile islands are spectacular and this is where the lake can be appreciated in all its beauty. Lunch in the island was good

Floating island and the life style of the people leaving there. Our tour guide was vey knowledgeable and explained the history of these islands. Food was great at the restaurant on the island. Must visit.

Great guide Samuel on Uros Islands

Samuel our English speaking guwas excellent. He was patient with all in group, very knowledgeable of Uros Islands history and traditions. Overall I expected to ask to purchase items, and found this experience not pushy as expected fom other reviews. Only negative is we were told in email communications that our group would be max 12. But was not communicated that we were sharing boat with another group of approximately 15

Our guide Samuel was excellent guide and very informative.Climbing up hill during trekking in Taquile Island was quite hard,because we had spent just few days in higher altitudes,otherwise the trip was very nice.

Awesome tour where you get to visit one of the biggest lakes in the world, some of its isles and its people. Beyond the beautiful lake and islands, you get to know about other cultures, their costumes and people. The lunch is OK.

Great cultural experience

It was a great cultural experience. Our guide Samuel was very professional and knowledgeable. He spoke very fluent English and command great communications. The boat was comfortable and seems quite fast navigating The water. The loca people seem mostly genuine and courteous, although tourism already became big part of their life and as expected there would be performances/food/traditional boat ride that they expect you to pay extra for. Our trip lasted from 7am pick up until 4am back to port and final drop off at main square. Overall recommended.

Uros visit

We visited 1 uros island and everything was so not organized. We waited 1 hour to board us. Then we went to the uros island , yes it was interesting to see the family and ask them questions but then the 2nd optional reet boat was like a lot of people on the small boat. The group was huge so on the Taquile island the guide told us to go with out saying where to wait. He was not explaining like the other guides we saw on the way. We had a person for 2 of us who was not even with us all the time and 0 explanation from him. It would be nice if you improve your time management and have time for pictures and if the group is big then 1 person at the front and 1 at the back to control the group. .

Taking the fast boat allows u to see the Uros floating island and the culture rich natural island of Taquile. Marcos our tour guide was great and his English was excellent. Very educational and worthwhile. Highly recommend.

The trip was very good. The stop at Uros to see how the people lived was interesting and enjoyable although a bit touristy. Although I was the only English speaking passenger Joseph was very even in the time he spent explaining things and from time to time he sat with me to give me more detail. Taquile Island was also interesting and the scenery was beautiful. Lunch was included and at a hill side restaurant and I had the best trout meal I can ever remember.
