Starting your tour in Queenstown, head to the charming settlement of Glenorchy, famous for its beautiful views. We began early to take advantage of the first light breaking over the mirror like reflection of the lake at Glenorchy. The scenery was magical and i learned some great pointers about shooting long exposures.

I had a fantastic private photography tour with Glen. We arranged an early pick up to get the best light before sunrise and achieved amazing results. Without a shadow of a doubt, with Glens advice and encouragement I took some of the best photos I have ever taken. Glen is a likeable guy and easy to get along with. If you are after some memorable photos, this is the tour for you.

It's my second photography tour with Glen Howey in a row. The day before, we took some astonishing pictures around Queenstown and Arrowtown areas. This time we were heading to Glenorchy.
The weather on this day was like that on my previous trip: Cloudy and sometimes showering. Somehow experienced Glen could help you manage to seize small windows of sunshine and take some gorgeous photos before the sunlight was gone.
All my photos were shot on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone. I used Samsung's Expert RAW app to shoot in the RAW format. If you had a full-frame mirrorless camera or equivalent, you could get better pictures than I did.

I bought my husband a photography tour with Glen as a surprise birthday gift.
This is his feedback-
The scenery in the Southern Lakes Region is a photographer’s paradise, but without someone to point out the best locations, finding them would be a mission. Glen is not only an excellent and experienced photographer, but his knowledge of the area and willingness to go above and beyond all expectations was simply amazing.
I had so much fun and took so many beautiful images that after the morning tour, I immediately signed up for Glen’s afternoon tour!
What a day! Needless to say, I saw sights I had never seen before, and enjoyed myself so much that I am booking another tour in November.
Glen is an exceptionally nice guy and you simply won’t do better than spending either a half, or better still, full day enjoying fantastic scenery and great company.
My advice, if you get the opportunity to join Glen for one of his tours, DO NOT pass it up!
