The tour was great! Pick up was very quick I didn’t wait at all, then we did a change of bus some of us when to other tours I guess. Our driver & guide were great! Sorry bad with names but guide was from Croatia & the driver was Polish. They were knowledgeable & made us laugh too. We had enough time to explore at each stop. My most favourite is definitely the last waterfall where you can walk behind it. Prepare to get wet! I was the only one with a package to go to sky lagoon & the tour operator was kind to organise an individual transfer back for me after the lagoon Sky lagoon - great views on to the sea from the hot spring lagoon. The sauna is a must see with a full wall glass window. Tips - bring you own food & drink, it is bit expensive in Iceland compared to Uk, I felt. - water resistant clothes if you want to come close to waterfalls - bring your own shampoo - unlike the blue lagoon in sky lagoon shampoo was not provided only shower get & conditioner

OmG! This is such a jaw-dropping, awesome, phenomenal day tour topped with a dip at the amazing Sky Lagoon! I mean WOW! Thank you so much for a mind-blowing experience. Hope to come back soon. Will definitely recommend you guys.

Wonderful and informative tour of the South Coast! The bus was comfortable -- though missing charging cables for your phones (I only mention this for folks to save their batteries for all the photos they will take!) You go through some beautiful wild countriny in Iceland.Bring water proof rain jackets for the water falls -- you can walk behind one of them and both are heavy on the mist. The black sand beach was my favorite and I could have sat there watching the water next to those incredible basalt columns all day. Ending the tour with a trip to Sky Lagoon was the BEST way to end the day. You do get dropped off after EVERYONE else on the tour which is a bit of a bummer, but you still have plenty of time at Sky (which at the end of the day, watching the sun set over the ocean after doing their 7 step ritual? Incredible).

We did the South Iceland tour and had added on Sky Lagoon. It was brilliant! It is with BusTravel Iceland and it was so well organised. Our tour guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information and stories with us to enhance the tour. He really looked out for us all. Our bus driver, Szymon, was also amazing - driving us safely in challenging conditions. No parts of the tour felt rushed and it felt like there was plenty of time to enjoy each location we visited. It was a real highlight of our trip. And the sky lagoon - completely fabulous! BusTravel Iceland organised a taxi to bring us back once we had finished. Communication was great throughout and I'd really recommend this tour.

This was a late addition to our trip and it was the perfect add! First, the communication with the tour operator was excellent. They are very responsive and made sure that everything went smoothly. The itinerary was the right amount of stops and activity, without overdoing it. We were allowed the perfect amount of time at each stop and were never rushed. The timing of each stop was great with regards to bathroom, food, and needing to walk. Jennifer was such a phenomenal guide...knowledgable, accommodating, and kind. Pick up and drop off were seamless. Would definitely recommend this one!

Good tour overall, but NO bathroom on bus as was advertised. (It was there but locked so you are not allowed to use it) The Sky Lagoon part was confusing as they never mentioned it and said, ok the tour is over back to the bus stops. I had to ask and then they dropped us there and left us. They called a taxi for the ride back. Another thing that was annoying was if you are at bus stop 1, they will pick you up there but not drop you off at the same stop. They said it was too far!!! Crazy

Make sure you visit sky lagoon!

Great sights and very knowledgeable tour guide. Only downside is that pickup is not offered from all hotels/bus stops so I had to walk 25 minutes to the meet up point, that’s the only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5. Great way to see the sights! I was one of two people that had booked with sky lagoon so a taxi was organised to take me back after the sky lagoon which was great. I actually preferred sky lagoon to blue lagoon and would highly recommend including this on your trip. Make sure you take a waterproof case for your phone if you’re going to the lagoon and make sure you take waterproofs for the waterfalls as it can get quite wet! The excursion was on a large coach as opposed to a smaller mini bus as with some of my other tours but the day still ran very smoothly.

South Island Tour with Sky Lagoon

Wonderful tour of waterfall and black beach. Did not enjoy Sky Lagoon. Water temp not hot like Blue Lagoon. Also, at Sky Lagoon there was a dead decomposing fish in rocks of Lagoon entry. Water most likely contaminated.

Stressful pickup, beautiful sights.

Overall the tour is amazing, beautiful sites and a full day of experiences. However pick up was stressful as bus was not where advised at cruise port and there was no direction on where to go. Then even getting to the proper bus at the switch stop was confusing and poorly organized. When we tried to call the company it was closed and there was no way to communicate with anyone.

Disappointing

Locations were great. Unfortunately we spent most of the day at service stations. We saw 2 waterfalls, a glacier, black sand beach was cancelled and Vik is just a service station. Advertised as having on board restrooms but passengers aren't allowed to use them. Both the driver & guide seemed as if they didn't want to be there and had no idea about the sky lagoon tickets. After asking about this we were moved onto another coach which was far more friendly & accommodating. Transfers back for the sky lagoon felt very unplanned, 3 couples but were sent individual taxis who were expecting around £30 payment from us. All in all a disappointing experience other that the brief time allocated at locations. Pickup>coach swap>services>services>waterfall>services/Vik>glacier>waterfall>sky lagoon

No Transfer from Sky Lagoon to the hotel like they promised

We had this excursion it was wonderful. Tour guide very knowledgeable. The negative aspect he didn't know about our sky lagoon reservation. He drop us at the sky lagoon but nobody picked up us after we finished (they promised transfer but it wasn't include ) we take a taxi and we spend around 30 euros on that transfer. SKY LAGOON is outside to the city of Reykjavik.

Me and my daughter had a great day. The guide Geri (I'm not sure if i spell it right) was very interesting to listen to, and he was also very funny. The places we stopped at were all beautiful and it was great to end the day at the Sky Lagoon Spa.

Transfer ab der Bushaltestelle 15 hat super funktioniert. Moderner Reisebus und einen kompetenten Reiseführer. Auf der Rücktour waren wir pünktlich an der Sky Lagune und haben zwei Stunden entspannt. Abholung von dort hat auch bestens funktioniert.

Tolles Erlebnis, leider Probleme beim letzten Transfer

Die Ganztagestour lohnt sich wirklich sehr! Alle Stopps waren wirklich super und die Natur in Island einfach faszinierend. Auch ein besonderes Lob an unseren Tour Guide Ida! Sie hat die ganze Zeit für tolle Stimmung gesorgt und uns noch dazu sehr viele interessante Dinge über Island erzählt. Der einzige Minuspunkt bei der Tour ist der Transfer von der Sky Lagoon zurück zum Hotel. Mit uns wurde ganz klar mehrfach eine Uhrzeit ausgemacht, jedoch kam unser Taxi schon eine Stunde früher. Somit mussten wir selbst für den Rücktransfer aufkommen und erhielten auch keine Rückerstattung, obwohl die Schuld nicht bei uns lag!
