The tower, which is powered by geothermal energy, features multiple searchlights and the word “peace” inscribed in 24 different languages as part of the installation.

Northern lights and Peace light!!
This tour far exceeded my expectations. As soon as we set out on the boat toward the island, Rob the tour guide said the Northern lights are out. We climbed to the top level of Bost and saw the Northern lights as we approached the Peace tower light. Best night ever!!

Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience. Very moving. Fun to be on a deserted island at night. Megan, our guide, was brilliant. She was very friendly and informative & took amazing photos as we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights at the same time - bonus!! Would definitely recommend this trip, even if you’re not a John Lennon fan.

Great tour with a small group, 8 people. Walking around the uninhabited island with cold wind and creaky dock was a rare experience
