The original date we requested was booked, then we were advised that the tour was not available that day and were offered alternatives. This was mildly annoying. Fortunately, we were able to be flexible. On the day of the tour, the coordinator and the drivers showed up 25-30 minutes late for a 2 pm tour. Granted it was raining and the Rome traffic was bad, but the tour operator did a very poor job of getting in touch with us. Along with the others waiting (there were 12 or so people on the tour), there was a fair amount of ANXIETY about this. Waiting, waiting: Where is the tour? Plus, as a result, we got a late start and finished late in the day (and then had to walk back to the hotel from the drop off point in the rain). Thus, in terms or organization and ease of experience, a relatively disappointing day. The actual tour of the Catacombs lasted about an hour or so and was well done. We enjoyed it. That said, the price of the overall tour was considerable, and much of the time was spent packed SNUGLY in the back of the limos riding down to the San Callisto catacombs and back. All in all, the trip was expensive for the value received, and we might hesitate to recommend it to friends. But the tour of the catacombs themselves was definitely a highlight.

My family really enjoyed having a private skip the line tour of the colosseum and forum. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our kids. Romania when even over her time (can’t guarantee that for everyone) to show us sites and to point us to one of the best dining experiences I had in Roma. A place that had the best porchetta. I would definitely recommend.

Great tour with emphasis on the basics with kid friendly approach. Anna, our guide had great knowledge and knew all the answers to our questions. Awesome to be able to enter through the gladiator’s entrance. Our tour was in French but is available in other languages. I highly recommend!

Our guide made our trip wonderful for adults and kids alike! She walked us around the area and gave quite a bit of history. She came equipped with pictures depicting images which described how the area looked historically and engaged our children with questions. It was a quite warm during our time at the Colosseum and our guide was very good at explaining things to us in the shade and then taking us to see what she was discussing. She was also very helpful in suggesting where to eat and how to get around the area.

The Colosseum tour was awesome. Our guide wish we could remember his name was waiting for us at our meeting location. He was very enthusiastic and had a very good command of the English language. His knowledge kept us all engaged even in the uncharacteristic heat. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the inside of the Colosseum with kids.

Unser 3-stündiger Trip zu Kolloseum, Palatin und Forum Romanum mit 2 Kindern 6, 7 war einfach perfekt Elisabetta hat es verstanden, die Kids mit Schautafeln und Geschichten zu begeistern - vor allem das Kolloseum hat es den beiden besonders angetan. Wir Erwachsenen sind in den Genuss eines fundierten kunst- und kulturgeschichtlichen Überblicks gekommen. Die Buchung einer zertifizierten Führers ist jedenfalls zu empfehlen, wir wurden ohne jede Wartezeitan den in der Schlange stehenden Touristen vorbeigeschleust das wäre auch mit individueller Vorausbuchung nicht möglich gewesen. Eine wirklich empfehlenswerte Tour!
