      DON’T BOOK A TOUR WITH ITALIAN TOURS OR VIATOR

      DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR WITH ITALIAN HOLIDAYS ON VIATOR! We booked and paid for the tour and went to the meeting place 10 minutes before the tour and the driver never showed up. We called Viator and they said that ITALIAN TOURS cancelled the tour after the start time. We had to scramble to take a taxi to the Catacombs before closing time. Viator did not help us to find another tour, didn't offer any explanation, didn’t apologize and offered a measly $25 as a “goodwill gesture.” This was the second time in a week that a tour we booked with Viator was cancelled. They are no longer a reliable company. Suggest you try a different company, like Get Your Guide. We took a tour of St. Peter’s with them and everything went smoothly.
