Children are more than welcome to our tour if of an appropriate age to enjoy.
Please be informed that we can accommodate baby strollers, however it will be difficult in one of our stop. Should you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to booking your tour.
We strongly advise wearing comfortable walking shoes to all of our guests. Our tour runs a little over 3 hours.
Due to the nature of creating a well balanced and thoughtful gastronomy experience, many of our tours are unable to accommodate certain dietary restrictions. Please contact us prior to booking your tour to see if we are able to accommodate your dietary needs.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Great tour, great food!

Doug gave such a great tour around the Gaslamp Quarter. Every food we ate was absolutely delicious and it was nice to get a little history and some fun stories from a native of the San Diego area. Two thumbs up, highly recommend!

Awesome Walking Food Tour - great experience and value

The food tour was great! Richard our host was a doll and we were fortunate enough to have a private tour with him with my girlfriend and myself. He told us great personal stories and gave a great rich history about San Diego and all the food spots were amazing We had A middle eastern beef/lamb kebab with pita, rice and a Greek salad Fish tacos Birria tacos Cheeseburger Coffee Ice cream

We loved the San Diego food tour with Doug as our guide. It was obvious Doug enjoys interacting with food tour guests. The history and background he articulates along with the food stops made this tour interesting and a great way to explore a part of the wonderful city of San Diego. Our guide, Mary Grace was great! All the food was delicious, with the exception of the smoothie. No one in our group of 9 particularly cared for it. Overall would highly recommend!

Fun tasting tour through San Diego!

Susan texted us and had a table set up for the group at our first stop. She shared lots of interesting history about San Diego and even pointed out a great art gallery. We had tacos at two spots: a fish taco & Mexican pork cooked with pineapple. Very succulent. We stopped for a Mediterranean beef/lamb kabob meal at a woman-owned restaurant. It was heavenly! There was a delicious burger called The Melt. It was Wagyu and beef mix stuffed with cheddar, chopped jalapeños & pickles. One of the best burgers we've tasted. So juicy! We ended our tour with a healthy juice drink and our choice of ice cream.

Lots of good food options. Only issue was the end point was over a mile from the noted end point in the description and we parked there.

Sue was an amazing tour guide! Super friendly and easy going and she was always prepared. I’d highly suggest this tour as someone trying to see the food scene in San Diego! I loved everything we ate on the tour and probably wouldn’t have visited these places if I was walking around by myself.
