Overview
Experience a high-flying adventure on a rain forest zipline course near San Jose. Journey from the Costa Rican capital to a private ecotourism reserve, where you’ll soar through the lush jungle canopy and above the rushing Molinete River. Glide across 10 different zipline cables, including the 2,297-foot (700-meter) Adrena-Line, and walk across a hanging bridge. Begin your aerial adventure with hotel pickup in San Jose (if option selected) and a scenic drive through rolling hills and coffee plantations to arrive at Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic. This private ecotourism reserve covers 1,174 acres (475 hectares) of protected land and is the perfect base camp for the day.
Before taking the leap, your expert guides will provide a safety orientation and all the gear you need, including a helmet, harness, and gloves. To access the zipline course, take an easy walk along a forested trail and across a hanging bridge that spans the Molinete River. Climb to the top of the first platform and warm up your courage with a relatively short 263-foot (80-meter) line that crosses the river.
Continue along the adventurous course of 10 different cables that whisk you through the treetops of caobilla trees. Your guides will be on hand the entire time to ensure your safety and provide tips and tricks to maximize your ziplining experience.
For a heart-racing finale, prepare to fly at speeds of up to 34 miles per hour (55 km per hour) on one of Costa Rica’s longest ziplines. Stretching an astonishing 2,297 feet (700 meters) across at a height of 197 feet (60 meters), the Adrena-Line provides the ultimate zip.
After completing all 10 lines, descend back to solid ground and freshen up for lunch (if option selected) or the return drive to San Jose.

This was one of the most professional and enjoyable activities I've ever done. The network of lines themselves progressed from easy to hard and were designed to give great views. But the staff themselves were amazing: completely dedicated to safety and enjoyment, they were reassuring the whole way round. It was fantastic!

This trip is under marketed!! There are 10 ziplines, each amazing by themselves. The guides are great. We loved Moses!!

Trip not as advertised - was meant to be 6 hours and I had booked zipline only (as is in the description) but was put with a group that were doing an all day trip/multiple activities. Not told this until half way to the location. The guide was awful, she had absolutely no interest in trying to help and to be honest she didn't even seem like she wanted to be there. Was basically left at the park waiting for others to finish. Had plans for the evening and lost money due to the false advertisement.
The zipline was ok, felt safe but our small group of 4 was put with a group of 10 and there was ALOT of waiting in between zip stations. The place is hugely overpriced and not much there at all, also absolute nightmare with traffic getting there and back (3 hours to get back and the guide abandoned the group with a non English speaking driver) Personally wouldn't do again and feel it's important people know - there is no way of getting back on your own either unless they happen to be able to find a taxi which will cost you $80 (very sparse). The staff didn't care, just blamed Viator, no one wanted to take responsibility at all. I travel alot and this is one of the worst I've encountered. Park is also pretty run down, it was pretty empty and I can see why!
I would go to La Paz or multiple other options, definitely wouldn't waste your money and precious holiday time.

The guides on the zip line at Braulio Carrillo are fantastic. This was a great experience.
Do not plan on it being 1/2 day. We were picked up at 8:00 and dropped off at 5:00. It was still well worth it.

I booked this activity just 2 days before and it surprised me so much! Our guides were entertaining but also took care of security very much. It was super fun. Wonderful views and the last line is just amazing. So if you can’t go too far from San Jose this Park is definitely a Good choice :-)

Zipline company and experience was amazing!! The workers were great and we had an awesome experience! I only gave 4 stars because our drive back to San Jose was scary borderline dangerous. Our ride there was fine… not sure what happened.

The experience is a must do when visiting Costa Rica! The 700 meter zip line will leave your heart pounding and mind in awe with the beautiful view of the forest! We did about 8 different lengths of zip lines and each one was a thrill.
