Pros: -The beaches are beautiful. Cons: -Tour way too long, we were picked up at 6AM and we got back to the hotel after 9PM. Most of the time we spent traveling or waiting for the ferry (2 hrs wait & 1:15 travel to Culebra) or boat (30 min wait & 25 min to Culebrita). Just 2 hrs at the beach and 2 hrs snorkeling. - Snorkel, nothing to see in Culebrita just a few clown fish (the beach is pretty). After hours of snorkeling a few people in our group saw a few turtles. - The open waters are too hard, everyone in the ferry got sick. -The tour guide never says where to go or what to do, the people in our group were trying to find each other and try to stay together, the guy didn't care.
    Excellent beach trip

This is an excellent trip. The tour is very organized. Tito and the other guides are super helpful. The beaches are super clear. Everything was better than expected
    Don’t do it
    Andrea_W, Apr 2024
Didn’t see much. Poorly organized. Guide was more like a teenage babysitter who was required to be there. Parents did all the work with snorkels. Didn’t see much on our “snorkeling” adventure. It was more of a swimming hole where we got dropped off so our guide could paddle board. Not worth the money!
    Full day Culebra trip

Culebra is absolutely beautiful, especially Flamenco beach. The drivers/hosts were friendly, attentive and puntual for all meeting times. They picked us up at the hotel, escorted us on and off the ferry, drove us to and from the beaches on Culebra and provided us with snorkeling equipment and chairs. We were also given small bottles of water and mini potato chip bags after Tamarindo Beach. Our only issue is that for the price of the excursion ($600 for 3 people), it should really include a basic meal and maybe an umbrella at Flamenco Beach.

Beautiful beautiful beach!! The guys were great and humble. Must do!!!! Best beach by far!! Can’t wait to come back!
    Enjoyable relaxing experience
    Valerie_C, Mar 2024
This was such a fun and relaxing day! Everything was timed perfectly and went smoothly. I liked that we got to spend a few hours on the beach, which was absolutely beautiful and relaxing then took a water taxi to the snorkeling area. I liked the loose structure. The guides brought us to each area and gave us a time to be back at the meeting point so you were free to explore and do whatever you like. The coral seen while snorkeling was beautiful and we saw some pretty cool fish. My favorite part was flamenco beach. It was truly breathtaking and nice to relax and walk along the shore.
    Beautiful!!

Seeing the blue ocean water was the best part. Snorkeling was awesome too, all the pretty fish in the water
    Breathtaking!
    Marlon_M, Mar 2024
Tito was super friendly & attentive! They did give us water and snacks as they said. Flamenco Beach was beautiful & Relaxing. Recommend everything in Flamenco Beach Food, Drinks, even souvenirs! Also your necessities, Great Experience! Also bring water shoes for the rocky walk!

Culebra is just an amazing island. Great people. Our main guide Tito was on top of everything. The visit to Culebrita was a great finish to a perfect day.

Amazing experience! Ask for instructor Jorge. He’s patient in explaining the instructions and coordination under water is excellent. Would love to go back. Thank you, Jorge!
Worth it to see the beautiful beaches and island of Culebra
    Aislinn_V, Feb 2024
This was a long day but well worth it! We visited some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The water was so clear and blue! I am not an experienced snorkeler but it is easier than I thought - I saw so many fish and some nurse sharks which was cool (don’t be afraid they’re not dangerous). There were several different guides and drivers involved in the day and they all made sure we stayed as a group as we traveled from place to place and they made sure we had a good time. I was a solo traveler and felt very comfortable. Definitely remember to re-apply sunscreen as it is a very long day spent almost completely in the sun. They did provide chairs for the first beach and chairs with umbrellas and water for the second beach which was great! I think it would be difficult to navigate to Culebra and Culebrita alone without guides, so I recommend this tour. Once you arrive at the destinations the guides are very hands off in the sense that you get to explore (or relax) aa you please and you are given a time to meet up with the group. Be considerate of the rest of your group and make sure you are on time for the pick ups!!
    Beautiful Excursion
    Alicia_M, Feb 2024
My spouse and our other couple friends went on this excursion and it was awesome. It is very tiring you are up early and home late but definitely worth it. Flamenco Beach was beautiful and they provided us with beach chairs which was nice. Then we snorkeled and saw nurse sharks! Then they took us to a second beach with more chairs and umbrellas. They did provide light snacks so definitely buy some food there cause you will be starving. You can tell a lot of effort was put in by the team so I feel we got our moneys worth and some. Would love to do this again!
No turtles, I Ventures just wants your money
    Renee_T, Feb 2024
Don't use I Ventures for your trip. They bait and switched us for this tour by saying the seas were too rough to do the snorkeling adventure in Culabrita. If that was the case they should have rescheduled or offered refunds like Viator says will happen in case of bad weather conditions. Instead, they let everyone get to Culebra and then informed us we would be going to a cove after Flamenco Beach when it was too late to back out. They took anyone who wanted alcohol to a nearby store, then boated us to a spot ten minutes away that was a barge in the middle of the water and let us swim for several hours. Everyone working the boat and the barge had the same company shirts on, so clearly a bait and switch opportunity for them to take our money without providing the paid experience. There were no sea turtles. I have been snorkeling several times and this was a horrible experience. I do not recommend it for anyone.
    Beautiful but nerve wrecking
    Ashley_E, Feb 2024
The beaches were absolutely amazing. The weather was perfect and the water was beautiful. I would probably choose to drive myself then get on the ferry next time.
    Great Experience
    sandra_w, Feb 2024
The trip was all adventurous. I gave this a four star because I felt for a Full-Day trip like this one they should provide a light snack (fruit, charcuterie style). Chips and water are not an ideal snack for a day like this. Customer Service can improve but what place doesn’t after the pandemic?! Lol I did hesitated scheduling this tour due to certain reviews but …I have no regrets. They took us to three beautiful beach areas and I couldn’t have had it easier. I always remember when traveling to other places I’m on their territory and experiencing the culture. Conclusion, just book it and enjoy!
Nice but snorkeling on a shallow water
    Marta_L, Feb 2024
Very nice tour. The only drawback is that the boat parked on the shore and we didn't see turtles or many types of fish. I think on a deeper water snorkeling would have been more fun.
    Our trip was cancelled...
    Louisa_B, Feb 2024
Our trip was cancelled due to bad weather, and the company communicated with us and immediately processed a refund which put us at ease and allowed us to change our plans. Thanks!
    Overpriced beach day!!
    Tanya_P, Feb 2024
Don’t waste your money on this excursion. This was a huge disappointment. Tito our tour guide couldn’t even be bothered to wish us a good morning upon meeting. There was virtually zero engagement with the group. The “snacks and drinks” provided to us were a bottle of water and a Halloween size bag of cheezies at about 4 pm. I have been on snorkel excursions in Cuba, BVI and Belize and they were all great and so much fun. This excursion was the most expensive one I’ve ever booked and was the WORST!! If you want to snorkel at Culebra and see Flamenco beach , I would suggest paying the 2$ to take the ferry, renting a golf cart or taking a taxi over on the island to get around. They way you can explore and are not under the time restrictions. If you want to snorkel over at Culebra (which in reality isn’t very impressive) you can take the water taxi over and they will provide you with snorkel gear, umbrellas and chairs for a fraction of the cost. It will be the same water taxi that this company is using as they are essentially just buying your tickets for you and charging you double the price. Shame on Iventures, this rip off is the biggest regret of the trip.
    Tortuga Bay - Loved it!!!
    Javier_G, Feb 2024
We really enjoyed this excursion. We were able to stay at Flamenco beach. We then went to Culebrita island and went to Snorkeling Beach and Tortuga Bay. We had to do a 10 min hike, but well worth it. We had a blast!!! Tortuga Bay is one of the best beaches I have been to. Get ready for big waves and lots of fun.
