    What To Expect

    Make your own way to the Bacardí Pavilion in Cataño to begin your Mixology Tour of Casa Bacardí. First, follow your guide behind the scenes of San Juan’s famous distillery and learn the story behind the award-winning rum. Accompanied by a Bacardí brand specialist, uncover the secrets of Barcardí as you peek into the distillery room and aging room, sample the iconic rum and savor a complimentary cocktail.

    Then, head to the bar, where an expert mixologist is waiting to show you how to make classic rum cocktails. Learn the art of crafting the perfect cocktails and show off your mixologist skills.

    Finally, enjoy free time to explore the Bacardí gift shop and admire the views of Old San Juan from the pavillion.

    • We encourage responsible consumption. Mixology and Rum Tasting experiences are limited to one experience per person, per day. Legacy Tours can be combined with one other experience in a single day.
    • Food allergy notice: Please know that ingredients used to create the Piña Colada and Mojito include pineapple, coconut, lime, and mint. If you are allergic to any of these ingredients, we recommend you choose another available experience.
    • Guests using Uber: PR-888 Ron Bacardi Distillery
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 45 travelers

    Cancellation Policy

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
    • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

    Loved this experience! We drove around first learning about the history of Bacardi and how the rum is made, then we headed in to start the class. Prep yourself for the drinks because they definitely are strong! Don't be afraid to talk to people either, I met a nice group of girls here too :) Our guide was also funny and did a great job!

    Rightly recommended I coming to San Juan. This was the best part of my trip! They greet you with a free drink to choose from at the bar and they were not stingy with the rum. They give you history on the rum and how it came about, very informative. Our instructor Alexandria, goes by curls, was the BEST! She was so fun and definitely hyped the class and made it more fun. The drinks we made were super good and refreshing.

    A time was had at this mixology class! The best vibes and class I have taken on Viator. Advice: eat before you come because this Bacardi is not the same as the one sold in the US! Maria the mixologist was knowledgeable, fun, and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. I’m going to do this tour again. Worth every dollar!

    Great experience! Staff was very friendly, and the food onsite was food. The tour was quick, but just enough time not to bore you. The class was high energy, very clean spaces, and hands on. Highly recommend!

    I enjoyed the whole event, only regret, I was not allowed the red bracelet. Don't know why not, we were given green bracelets, but no one explained the different color bracelets.
