Seeing the waterfalls up close was amazing and it’s waters so cristaline, relaxing, and refreshing!!! Eating at El Tunco Beach was great with live music, delicious food, and the front view of the beach🤩

guide were very friendly I wish we had more time to spend at the large waterfall. Only one of the waterfalls was really worth seeing the other two were very small. I wouldn't call them waterfalls I'd call them a little trickle of water. 🙃

The waterfalls and El Tunco were such a fun day trip from the city! I’d recommend wearing hiking boots for the hike to the waterfalls and water shoes once you swim/jump. It’s a rocky hike but worth it. El Tunco is only a few streets but is lively with restaurants and a beautiful spot to surf or watch the sunset. Gaby (our tour guide) also made this trip so special for us! She shared so much knowledge about El Salvador along the way, was fun company and very organized/communicated well! Don’t miss this one if you are looking for a fun day trip!

A fantastic tour! Antonio was the tour guide/driver and he was absolutely amazing! Very sweet and personable! Alex was the tour guide during the hike. Super sweet and definitely a big help during the hike. I must say, if you plan on doing this tour make sure you are 100% fit and active. This is an intense journey and not for the weak. Beautiful scenery through the hike overall! Unfortunately did not get a chance to visit the beach due to rain but not complaining. Very thankful for the help received during the hike. Great experience.

This trip was a blast! The most exercise we’ve had in a while LOL ! Josué was AMAZING highly recommended request him! He was so patient with us ! We had a wonderful time in El tunco beach as well! He made us feel like family !

Gaby was a wonderful guide. She also picked me up from my hotel, which the other tours I took didn’t want to do, so I had to walk or Uber across town. She was patient with my lack of fitness on the walk, and chose a wonderful restaurant at the beach. Thank you Gaby for making the day so wonderful.

Highly recommend this tour. It’s well organized and the falls are a fantastic way to spend the morning. El Tunco was great to see and it’s a beautiful beach town. Our guide was amazing. Went to Beto’s for lunch and it was delicious

Gaby was my tour guide and she was great, and relatable. She volunteered a lot of info about the history of El Salvador also to make the experience a learning one as well. Hiking to the waterfalls took strong effort but totally worth it!

This was an amazing experience, the hike is a bit primitive, and can be a bit challenging. I would not recommend for children. But the overall experience is amazing. The waterfalls are amazing. The black sands beach is amazing I definitely recommend!

Josue and Fredy, our two guides, were the best part of our trip to El Salvador. I was sick, and shouldn't have been on the hike at all, but those two were such professionals! They held my hand, rushed up the hill to buy me Gatorade, fanned me, distracted me with funny stories, and turned what could have been an awful, terrible experience into a delightful day. El Salvador was just a stopover on our way to Guatemala, but because of these two, it became the best part of our long trip. They both were such a fantastic example of the intrinsic goodness of the Salvadorans. We will definitely be back because of their incredible kindness and professionalism. Set up a tour just to meet both of them -- it will truly be a highlight!

My Tour Guide was Francises he is one of the youngest tour guide in all of El Salvador He knew his country well and had much to talk about such as other excursions he offered, culture,and restaurants on our drive to the waterfalls . The trail to the water fall is about 45mins to an hour depending on your pace. There are 2 different waterfalls you can chose to see. Once you arrive to the actual water fall there is time to swim take pictures and enjoy your time there. I did travel solo to El Salvador and this was a private tour meaning it went at my pace and I never felt rushed. 🇸🇻
