What To Expect

At the selected departure time for your Santa Barbara bike tour, make your way to the local bike shop and prepare for your electric bike excursion. Here, your guide outfits you with a helmet and provides a brief safety orientation about the easy-to-use electric beach cruiser — a comfortable bicycle with wide tires and upright seating.

Your guide leads your small group on an historical route around Santa Barbara that includes the Santa Barbara Mission and the brick-lined sidewalks and landscaped plazas of downtown’s State Street before heading out to the Pacific Ocean.

You can cruise at speeds of up to 20 mph (32 kph) with the option of pedaling, using the electric motor or a mixture of both for a fun and easy ride.

Focus your camera lens on renowned views of the Santa Barbara coastline and stop at a few historical sites to brush up on local history before pedaling (or coasting) back to the original departure point.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A must do when visiting Santa Barbara

It is a great way to see all of the sights and get a feel for the place. The e-bikes are easy to use and require very little effort. Our guide Kai was really knowledgeable and we had a great time.

Beautiful views, relaxing pace, a wonderful way to leisurely see Santa Barbara.

Zara was very sweet, knowledgeable, and could gauge very well how fast to go and how much information was interesting, but not consistently talking. She was a great guide. The views and interesting sights all taken in at a relaxing pace was very pleasant.

Such a great way to see Santa Barbara! Our guide Joshua was very knowledgeable and showed us all the great spots. The bike ride was easy with the e-bike. Going up hills was a breeze! It wasn’t too sunny but that was actually a blessing because that meant there weren’t too many cars or people to maneuver around. I highly recommend this tour. If you don’t have too much time, this tour is a great way to see all the main spots of Santa Barbara!

Full disclosure, we didn’t end up doing a tour with this company. However we were on a cruise they was supposed to stop here and didn’t. We paid in full for the tour only to be told moments before we were supposed to leave that it wasn’t going to happen. The tour company was kind enough to issue a full refund! This is a must do if you want to learn a little about the area and see the city! The electric bikes are a great way to see the city, learn some history, and they allow you to go at your own pace. Amanda was our guide and she was terrific! She took us all around the city and gave us some history on the area as well as some great recommendations for places to go back and see as well as some fun local spots to eat! I would highly recommend this experience!

We had a fabulous bike tour through Santa Barbara and Montecito. Our guide Colin knew so much about the area and he took us to amazing spots to see the views and learn the history. Colin made it so fun. Definitely a highlight of our weekend visit to Santa Barbara. E-bikes were fabulous. Collin also recommended local restaurants and we went for a burger after the bike ride at city brewery and we agree it was the best burger! Highly recommended this tour.

Sergio, our tour guide was absolutely the best!!!! He really made what would have probably been a pleasant tour into a fantastic one and we enjoyed every minute of it. The path he takes you on is so beautiful and varied, with every spot being truly different from the next. He had an upbeat, positive personality and really made us feel relaxed and not rushed through. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone that wants to be outdoors, do something active and REALLY fun! 10/10!!!!
