Please be ready for pick-up at 9:00AM. Please allow up to 20 minutes to conclude all the pick-ups in Ponta Delgada. Pick-ups in Ribeira Grande not before 9:30AM. We do not provide drop-off service in Ribeira Grande or Lagoa for this tour.

I had an amazing time on this tour with Gonçalo! We got really lucky with the weather and a great group of people, and Gonçalo elevated the experience beyond imagination. He shared personal stories that really made every stop on the tour come alive. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, he was also a great facilitator. He knew how to make people comfortable and come out of their shell to fully enjoy the experience. Both the guide and scenery were incredibly impressive and I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the island!

Our tour guide, João (John), was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour covered most of the west side of São Miguel with a small group, and included a good lunch at an oceanside restaurant. João knew well the geography and the history of the area and we had a fantastic time! We highly recommend João.

Joao was so enthusiastic and knowledgable. He obviously loved his job and made such an effort with us to tell us all he knew, share his joys of the island and have a laugh. It was a full day including an excellent (boozy) lunch and I felt I saw a lot of the west of the island!
