Great tour for the money

We had a great half-day tour with Edson. Because we arrived at GRU later than the pick-up time, the company was able to create a tour specifically designed for my family which included a later start time. Edson, the guide, met us a the Ibis Hotel Paulista and drove us around the city for a great "introduction" to Sao Paulo. Due to a marathon and other events, we were not able to get out of the car at the park, one of the churches, and the Luz Station, but we did see them from the outside. The best part of the day was eating a late lunch and shopping in the Japanese part of the town and fruit shopping at the municipal market. It was a great day overall.

Excellent experience. Strongly recommended. Our guide was Maurício. He was very knowledgeable. It is a half day but takes more than six hours. Covers lot of places. Also there are heavy traffic jams. Make sure to bring some snacks and water (drinks).

I was contacted regularly prior to the trip so I was confident they were picking me up from my hotel. If you want to see highlights of São Paulo than look no further. The city is massive and would take me 1-2 days easily to get around and see the spots we did. We did it in 4 hours. There is a lot of traffic so we had to go slowly to each of the spots but that was fine as got to see and feel more of the city! The spots were interesting with my highlight the cathedral. Our guide was superb. Very knowledgeable and passionate. My only improvement for feedback would be to communicate more to set a time for pick up in advance so people feel comfortable (I had to chase for this and was told only day before late afternoon). I was in transit on plane so couldn’t plan accordingly. Small thing but could be improved. I would recommend this tour for those short on time but curious to get the highlights of São Paulo.

More of a driver service

Realistically this is more of a driver service and the commentary is very limited. They just take you to the locations and tell you one or two things but very little information was given. Overall it was disappointing.

A great way to get a feel for this flourishing city

Our guide, Josafat drove three of us to many interesting places in the city - including places that had special events happening on that day. He was very informative, speaking fluent English and Spanish. Places visited included the cathedral, Ibirapuera Park, Batman Alley, Estacao da Luz, Monumento da Bandeiras, the Japanese market and the Football Stadium. In each place, we had 10 minutes to do what we liked. The route was well-planned, and the information he gave was authoritative and accurate. He also answered many questions from us about life in Sao Paulo, and Brazil in general. All in all, a very good experience, and good value for money - highly recommended.
