The zoo was well run but nothing particularly special. The blue pond was beautiful but busy and only set up for tourists to take photos and leave. Ningle Terrace was not worth the trip. Commentary from the guide was very unbalanced - the English and Chinese commentary was brief and functional but was much more extensive in Japanese. There was one particularly bad section where the Japanese commentary was 15 minutes long and the English and Chinese were about 1 minute.

I cannot give more than a star. Although there was an English speaking guide on board, he proclaimed as such prior to the commencement of the tour, he was too timid to take over the mike to translate. This is unacceptable as there was a running commentary as the bus moved along and it was almost exclusively in Japanese, notwithstanding that at least half the guests were non-Japanese speaking. If you plan to take this tour make sure you clarify with the guides prior to the start that there will be a comprehensive English translation en route.

Itinerary was good. But we, English speaking tourists only received about 20% information given by the Japanese guide. Wish better coordination between Japanese guide and the English translator.

Blue pond very picturesque. Zoo nice but hard to get around in the heat. Nice ending of the day at Farm Tomita

I love the zoo so much and got to see so many animals in action. The blue pond and farm Tomita were great as well. Such lovely fields of flowers and colours. This trip is well organised with enough time for each place. Recommended!

Not English friendly. Fortunately I speak Japanese and could understand. The tour itself was absolutely beautiful but felt rushed.

I thought it was fun and interesting to join a bus full of 90% local Japanese tourists, everyone was prompt, polite, and quiet. I was amazed to find out later the bus actually had 11 children on it.
It's a well crafted itinerary, a good balance of nap/rest on the tour bus between the various tourist spots, quite a long travel distance in between these areas so it would've been a logistical nightmare if one has to travel to these spots in one day by themselves (public transportation or rental car), so I appreciate the day tour. The scenic spots were picturesque on the cloudless day we visited. Zoo was a little underwhelming but that's just my personal taste, growing up with enormous US zoos, Asahiyama zoo was a little claustrophobic for me.
Our tour guide Shizuka was fantastic. Very friendly, professional, and thoughtful for the few handful of foreigners in the group, she made sure we didn't feel left out or confused being in a Japanese tour bus. She took extra effort to make sure everything was expressed clearly, and I appreciate the how considerate she was.

So far it’s good as a first time here in Japan. The zoo stop should should be just an hour and the Tomita farm should be longer we have not enough time to go around and see the flowers.

This tour was mostly Japanese speaking with English translation. Female guide tried to make sure we English speakers understood. We enjoyed the visit to the zoo and the Blue Pond and it would have been much more complex to see these places with out a car. The Furano flower farm was not yet bearing lavender flowers except in 1 green house. The Ningeru Terrace was cute and we walked on the trails instead of "shop " in the small houses. I would have preferred to not see the lavender flower farm and the Ningeru Terrace and gone home a little earlier to Sapporo. .
