A must-do tour
Urszula_K, Sep 2023
My guide was Adnan, a very very knowledgeable and experienced person who shared with me with his story. He is an activist now and taught me a lot about the background of Srebrenica, but not only this - he answered on ever question I had about situation in Yugoslavia back then and the current one in Balknas, about the hate speech and the political situation in the world. During the trip I felt like my brain will explode from the amount of information but also it felt like puzzles were falling into place. I think the tour teaches more in those few hours than a year at school. I was also very nicely surprised by the approach of the office. Even tho it was Sunday, so the Memorial was closing earlier and we had to leave, they called me later to apologize for this and make sure that nevertheless I had a great day, which it was! I highly recommend the trip, it really opens eyes on many things and I can say it was one of the best tours in my life.
Excellent tour

The tour guide Ibrahim was very knowledgeable when he shared the history of the genocide with us. It was terribly what happened there but it is a part of our modern history.

My wife and I went to Srebrenica with our guide, Adis, lovely guy with huge sense of humor, honest, and very friendly. It was a moving trip because you will experience how the war took everything you have. It’s very recommended to those who wants to dig deeper into Bosnian history.
BEST TOUR EVER

Adi was the best guide we’ve ever had. Communication with him was easy and he was extremely accommodating. We can definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking to learn about the whole picture. Adi started with a history lesson at the very beginning of Bosnia’s history to put what eventually happened in the 90s in the right context. His story telling was very engaging and easy to understand. In the museum he let us browse on our own so we didn’t feel rushed and as a result of that we came back late, but he didn’t mind at all, because he’s just an overall wonderful person. It was exactly what we had hoped for and more.
Very good experience!!

You really have to see this once. The guide gives a lot of information, which is very valuable to finally be able to understand what happened in Srebrenica. Very professional, nice and respectful guide. There is room for everyone's opinion. I’m Bosnian (living in the Netherlands) and I know that the war can be a sensitive subject, but the guide gave us a very good experience. We also were warmly welcomed by a lovely woman who took care of our lunch. I traveled alone but felt very safe. The guide picked us up and brought us back safely as well. I definitely recommend going with this organization.
Educational and emotional tour
Ozan_G, Sep 2021
Before the tour i was contacted and informed very good from the office. But also after the tour, they asked me if i liked it. The tour started with a pickup from our driver and and the same time touroperator Ömer. We where brought first to the Srebrenica genocide memorial. On our way too the memorial museum Ömer told us the start from the history of Bosnia and later on to the war. It was told very good so you get a clear vision on how and why it did happen. Ömer can tell this story very good and strong because he is well informed and speaks perfect english. Not only that, Ömer can tell it with great passion because he is a proud bosnian. Also he saw the war himself as a child in Sarajevo, so he can tell it with lots of emotions. He is also open for quistions, even if they are offensive. And as last Ömer is a very funny, friendly, sharing and helpfull guy. Special thanks to Ömer. After the Genocide Memorial we went to the Srebrenica memorial museum. The Genocide memorial is very touching to be there. Same as the memorial museum wich is perfectly made because it starts from the begin, during and aftermath of the war. For both these visits, we get enough time to look around. After the memorials we went to a Bosnian family wich has returned too Srebenica after te war. First we get a great homemade Bosnian lunch wich was delicious. After the lunch the woman of the family told her story. This story was very emotional and strong. She showed whats she stands for and it was all love and no hatred at all. After this we went to visit the city Srebrenica it self wich is almost a ghosttown. In the end, this tour was very special for me to end my 1 week long Bosnia journey. Where i met lots of beautiful open en heartfull people. And saw a lots of beautiful sights. Thank you for this tour everyone and thank you Bosnia.
Moving, Informative Tour

Adnan was my guide for this tour. He did a fantastic job, and was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to share with us his personal experience with the conflict, which was invaluable. He is a wealth of knowledge not only on the conflict, but on Bosnian history in general. We also had a lovely lunch with a local woman, who spoke to us about her own past in Srbrenica. This was certainly a highlight of the trip. I would recommend this trip highly. It was one of the highlights of my trip to the Balkans.

Must do

Loved it. Heavy and not easy theme wise, but a must know and see. A historic action that affected many lives and shall never be forgotten.
Great tour and a must-see!
Adam_T, May 2021
Great tour, tailored to suit all of our needs. A very emotional place that I would consider a must-visit, alongside Auschwitz, for every European. The memorial centre is very informative and a great museum. The tour was great, vehicle very comfortable and our guide Danijela was very knowledgeable. Would recommend for sure!
A sensitive presentation of a difficult topic.

My guide, Edin, was incredibly well informed, courteous, and a patient teacher. I liked him so much I booked a tour specifically with him the next day! Mr. Asim, the manager, was incredibly helpful and dedicated to customer service. Kudos to both!!!

Amazing, Candid, and Haunting Tour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5 Stars! *****
Greg G, Jul 2019
Having been a teenager when all this ugliness occurred, it was really something to be up close and personal with this aspect of Bosnian history. Things could have been a little smoother, but seeing how Sarajevo tourism is in its nascent stages, it is easily forgivable. Our tour guide knew so much detail and was able to answer every question, even difficult ones, without hesitation. Excellent driving as well through the winding hills and mountains of Bosnia. Book with confidence.
Response from Host, Aug 2019
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you learned more from this. It was our pleasure and our honor to assist you with this tour. We hope to see you again! Best wishes, Info Bosnia Team
Powerful and intensely sad experience...
Faiz R, Sep 2018
Powerful and intensely sad experience. Srebrenica is a failure of the UN and the international community and painful reminder of the demons that mankind engender and that can be nurtured by a small group of rabble rousers. Growing up as a child in Pakistan, I closely followed the Bosnian war and Pakistan army troop deployment as UN peacekeepers. My heart cries for the people of Bosnia. Our guide was Yasimov for this tour and both my wife and I were very impressed by his professionalism and dedication to his work. The prayer at Srebrenica cemetery should find place in our heart !!
