A Landmark across the street from where we start is "Saint Johns Episcopal Church" with a big stain glass window. Ask for "The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour"!

  • PARKING: Available at 301 West Liberty Street in the Liberty Street Parking Garage next to The Mellow Mushroom Restaurant.
  • There are no public restrooms available along the walking tour route. Please plan ahead accordingly. Once started the tour does not stop and wait for you.
  • Not recommended for travelers with mobility problems. This Walking Tour is 3,500 steps and lasts 2-2.5 hours.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Great Ghost Walk tour

Very interesting. Great tour guide. Was 2 hours but went by fast. Our tour guide was called on the seen when ‘Danny’ was shot. The death that Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil was based on.

Our tour guide, Patrick has been leading ghost tours for over 25 years. This was our second Savannah ghost tour for 2 people in our group and can say he was far more entertaining and knowledgeable than the others. Patrick was a great storyteller and was full of history! If you are looking for a great tour, this is the one!

Patrick was amazing! Very knowledgeable on the history of Savannah and the people who lived here. Interesting stories and lots of laughs as well. Even captured some orbs on our ghost walk. The EMF meters added to the fun. Would highly recommend

Our tour guide was Patrick and a wonderful wealth of knowledge about his lovely home town of Savannah! He told some amazing stories about many haunted places and the spirits still around them. He also has several really good photos of the ghosts he talks about. This tour is a must do while in Savannah. Enjoyed it very much.

I learned so much about the history of Savannah from our tour guide, Gene. I had just read ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’ and was fascinated by his first-hand experience with some of the events of that novel. While I didn’t find any hard evidence of ghosts, I had fun using the EMF meter and listening to the fabulous ghost stories. Thank you for a great night!

If you’re looking to learn about the history of Savannah AND get your fill of ghost lore, this is the tour for you. Gene was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly had a personal interest and investment in what he was showing/telling us. I wouldn’t recommend this tour with kids since you do quite a bit of walking late at night, but I would do this tour again in an instant with my partner, friends, family, etc. It’s also a great way to see the city when things are a little more quiet. We did a Sunday night tour and it felt like we had the city to ourselves. Thanks, Gene!

Gene was great! We picked this tour because of the historical focus, and he delivered. He is super knowledgeable and committed to telling accurate stories of Savannah’s past in simple and engaging ways. We did this the first night we arrived which was helpful to get a better lay of the land for the rest of our trip. The tour was a full 2 hours of start/stop walking so be prepared to get your steps in.
