What To Expect

Meet a driver at your Savannah hotel, then board a trolley for the first stop of the evening. If you’ve selected the Telfair Academy while booking, you’ll start with a tour of one of the “most haunted houses in America,” which has been investigated by the crews of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. Learn about the figures and voices that have been reported over the years, and about visitors who’ve felt a ghostly touch inside the house.

If you opt for dinner at The Pirate's House, kick off the night with a pirate-themed dinner at a tavern that dates back to 1754, making it one of the oldest buildings in Georgia. Following your meal, you’ll have a tour of the Rum Cellar, said to have been used for smuggling liquor during the years of Prohibition.

Next is the narrated ghost tour of Savannah’s Historic District, with stops at historic squares and haunted locales. The guide will spin tales of hauntings, ghouls, and ghosts, and you’ll see the historic heart of Savannah light up after dark—with moss-draped oaks, grand mansions, and cobblestone streets, this is Savannah at its most atmospheric. This trolley tour concludes in central Savannah.

I have been to savannah many times over the years and have taken the walking tour.This was my first time on a bus . The driver was skilled at dodging cars and the people walking in the road. The guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeableable.

Due to plastic windows it was hard to see out. Not sure why the narrator had to lie about her name and being a medium. The 2 characters that came on board were just a waste of time.

Some people have reviewed this as “cheesy”. You have to expect that in my opinion. It was worth the time and $ but honestly our guide, Red Beard could have used a bit more enthusiasm. Perhaps it was an off day for him. He just didn’t seem in to it. Took a walking tour the next AM and our guide was wonderful.

We enjoyed Valerie speaking to us before the Trolley left. She was very engaging. The ride around historic Savanna was enjoyable but the rest was just blah.

Don’t waste your money

The tour person talked so quickly about random ghost stories she forgot to actually point out the places as we passed them. Her stories didn’t have a real true feel behind them. The 1 place we were supposed to actually tour was locked when we got there. So she tried to add a longer tour by having us look at a graveyard walking around it. Do not recommend this tour

Ethan was an incredible guide. He was very socially aware and was able to rerout any potentially awkward moments into funny ones. He told many great stories and was genuinely a pleasure to hear speak. Brenda was also a great trolley driver. Awesome experience, would recommend.

Emma was a great tour guide !! She was very knowledgeable and funny. Latoya was our driver and she was also great ! I felt very safe with her 😊 This tour was one of the best I have been on and it is also family friendly. I took my 10 year old with us and he loved it ! We will take this tour again ☺️

The tour guide was great. We loved the actors that hopped on. The only issue was that the bus driver, Janelle or Jamelle, was not happy she had to drop people back off at their hotels. Emma told her they had to drop everyone off and the driver asked why with a loud tone. Emma explained there was no shuttle. The driver then said what the f****, which was inappropriate, especially with children on board. Our kids heard her. We heard her. It was uncalled for. Other than that, the tour was fun.
