What To Expect

Your Savannah “Dead of Night” ghost tour begins at the Nathaniel Greene Monument in central Johnson Square, where you meet your guide and small group for your haunted tour through the historic district. Stroll past Colonial Park Cemetery, one of the oldest cemeteries in the city and final resting place of Tomo-Chi-Chi.

Listen to stories of the spirits that are said to haunt these graves, then continue on to the Savannah Historic District. Pause at Marshall House, a storied hotel known for both its architectural beauty and resident ghouls. End at Wright Square, also known as "The Hanging Square", where the first woman was hanged in Georgia.

Savannah at night is gorgeous. We did the tour on our first night in town and along with the stories, the sights made the tour worth it. It's a great way to learn some of the town's history and become enthralled with what it was like to live in Savannah during its more challenging times. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this is a wonderful way to spend time in town.

Our tour guide was a great story teller about the many ghosts in Savannah. Wished we could have finished the tour. Close to being finished, we had a huge thunder storm with lightning, thunder and a hard rain. We were soaked by the time we got to our car. That was part of our fun memories though.

Beautiful area to walk around. The group was too large. Crossing streets we had to wait for the rest of the group to get past the light. The guide asked us too many questions with very long pauses. Time was wasted for our education about the ghost stories.

Not much of a ghost tour. More of a guy telling us facts that you could probably look up quickly. When asked simple questions, he didn't know. I would not recommend.

There were entirely too many tours going on at same time. We crossed at least 7 other tours in hour and half. It was distracting to follow what was going on. Prefer smaller groups too

My husband and I did this tour and it was fun to walk around and get some ghostly history! We saw quite a few sites including a graveyard. Would reccomend.

Such an amazing evening! Showed up to the sun dial and there was just this massive crowd, made me a bit uncomfortable to be honest. Then the four tour guides expertly put us into our smaller groups in an efficient and timely manner. Our tour guide, Brittany Clark, was an amazing story teller. Had us all focused and hanging on every word she said!! I'd be lying if I didn't admit to jumping a couple times 😂. The tour was on pretty even ground and she would offer us seating every chance she could. Definitely recommend 10/10.
