This is by far our favorite booking we’ve ever done. The tasting at every stop was more delicious than the last. Ro was so knowledgeable about every restaurant we stopped in. He gave us great tips on which hidden restaurants we should try. We’ll definitely be booking another tour with Southern when we come back.

From the time we met up with Jakob, until the time we said goodbye to him, it was like being with family. The desserts were absolutely out of sight, and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. We are definitely going to do a food tour in the future.

Great way to end a day of sightseeing in Savannah.

We had a wonderful guide who made this tour special. She was funny and full of stories. We thoroughly enjoyed the desserts and there were plenty. You won’t go away hungry. Eating a light (healthy) meal about 2-3 hours before will help with the sugar overload. Take water with you as well. We normally wouldn’t book a dessert tour as we aren’t very big dessert people-but it was a fun way to taste some of Savannah’s top offerings. Highly recommend.

We met our tour guide Teresa at the designated monument with no problem. It was a fun tour with friends. We liked some of the treats. We had 6 in total. Most of us were GA natives. I think it's a nice tour for tourists. Lol some of the flavors we don't particularly like but could be great for others such as peach cobbler, peach cheese cake, banana pudding and butter pecan ice cream. We loved tasting the desserts, sight seeing and our tour guide!!!

Christina was a fun tour guide and knowledgeable of the history of Savannah. The dessert were delicious. You were experience about 5 different treats.. My husband and I have been doing the dessert tours every year. We will continue to be repeat customers.

My bachelorette group had a fantastic tour with Christina! She was very knowledgeable about the city of Savannah and had all the local hookups! She was hilarious and made a point to connect with each member of our group. She also made sure that all dietary restrictions were taken into account, and was even able to swap desserts on the fly when some people said they didn't like bananas. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Christina was fantastic. She's born and raised Savannah and it shows. It seemed like she knew everyone and all the places that provided us desserts were very friendly and welcoming, no matter how busy. The dessert variety was excellent too!

We had a new tour guide named Theresa training with Christin, I loved her! She's been to Savannah herself many times and was very knowledgeable about all things history and restaurants. Great tour we loved the mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Our guide, Christina, was so entertaining on our tour. Each dessert was unique from the rest and they were all delicious . Our group of nine ladies had so much fun and we laughed so much, I was sorry when the tour ended. The entire experience was unforgettable

My friend and I had an awesome tour with Ro! He had all sorts of knowledge to share - food, history, etc. Neither of us were new to Savannah but got to see more of the city while heading to each of the stops. We got to eat at some classic Savannah institutions as well as some new/local spots. Will definitely recommend to family/friends and hopefully return soon for another tour!

Beware: Bad Desserts

Desserts were terrible! Clearly came straight out of freezer storage. 3/5 were ice creams. No one on the tour even came close to finishing the serving at each stop. Very disappointing. I expected to taste authentic Savannah flavors.

We had a fabulous time on the tour. Our host Ro was wonderful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Our family of five happened to be the only tour goers, so the entire evening felt like a private tour. This was a fun way to see a bit of Savannah while also sampling some delicious local desserts. Our dietary restrictions were handled with care, making for an inclusive experience for all in our party. Thank you for a fabulous time! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future.

With Christina as our guide my cousins and I enjoyed this fun walking tour through several of savannah’s historical (and edible) sites. We got to “sample” a delicious variety of nearly full size treats at a myriad of local dives including some that you may not see on a typical top 10 places list. Cristina was informative, funny, entertaining. As a tenured local tour guide she was even nominated for Savannah’s best tour guides (which we simply had to vote for her) overall can’t give this tour enough thumbs up. Thank you cristina!!
