What To Expect

Board your tour vehicle upon pickup from your accommodation in Sedona or the Village of Oak Creek. Your day trip to Grand Canyon National Park begins with a scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon via a National Scenic Byway. The road winds through pine forests en route to Flagstaff, with the option of hotel pickup there.

Entering the park on the western side of the South Rim, you're treated to sweeping views of the Grand Canyon, Bright Angel fault line, and the Colorado River at Yavapai Point. After a lingering glimpse and plenty of photo ops from the park's widest overlook.

Head to Grand Canyon Village, the Historic District at the South Rim, where you have time to purchase lunch and explore the area including the historic El Tovar Hotel, the Pueblo replica of Hopi House, art exhibits at Kolb Studio, and more. Take a walk along the canyon rim and search for giant California condors that call this area home.

Your tour vehicle continues eastward along the South Rim, to take in the vastness of the canyon. Find dramatic views from a variety of perspectives both inside and outside the Desert View Watchtower, designed by architect Mary Colter.

Departing the national park alongside the Little Colorado River Gorge, see more impressive views on a drive through the Navajo Nation en route to the historic Cameron Trading Post, known for its outstanding selection of American Indian arts and crafts. The cliffs of the Painted Desert provide a picturesque backdrop for this scenic stop before drop-off at your hotel in Village of Oak Creek or Sedona.

Driving through the res. The Grand Canyon was spectacular which I expected but I didn’t realize the size poverty and barren landscape of the res.
Best tour and tour guide ever!
Debbie_R, Apr 2024
From start to finish, the experience was first class and highly enjoyable and comfortable. Had excellent communication from the tour company prior to the tour. Andrea, our tour guide, was the best. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, kept us on a great schedule without ever feeling rushed, although we packed in a lot in one day. Best of all was that it was obvious she loved her work and shared great info. We highly recommend her if you want a 1st class experience! Debbie & Sam
Amazing Grand Canyon Excursion

Can’t say enough about how outstanding this trip was. Kurt was magnificent. He was so knowledgeable and shared so much with us throughout the entire trip. The Cameron Trading Postwhere we stopped for lunch was far beyond my expectations. The food was amazing. The shop was amazing. The people that we traveled with were wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Well worth the money. You will be amazed and awed by the experience.
Memorable tour, first class tour guide!

We had a wonderful tour guide. He talked steadily, told us about the area, history, anecdotes, culture of the people there, stories of growing up there, flora or fauna, excellent guide! We tipped him well, hope everyone else did the same.

The breath taking views were amazing. We also had every kind of weather sun, rain, snow and hail. Luckily all the rain and hail were when we were driving. Andrea our guide was amazing and extremely knowledge. I left my water bottle in the van and they delivered to the front desk of the resort we were staying at, outstanding customer service. I would recommend this tour, its worth every penny. Thank you Andrea for the best tour ever!!
Bob is the best tour guide

Excellent Commentary Throughout the Trip
Tim_K, Mar 2024
The wealth of area knowledge shared by the tour guide really made the trip more enjoyable. Mike knows a lot about the area--not just the Grand Canyon, but also the areas between Sedona and the GC. The 4-5 GC viewing stops allow just the right amount of variety without becoming repetitive. I have to say that there was some confusion within the tour company drivers as to which guests were being picked up by which vans. Mike had showed up at the initial pick-up location on time, but did not call our names. Only when another van was late and looked into why we were still at the pick-up location 20 minutes later did they realize the confusion. That van driver met up with Mike's van along the route and we transferred.

Our trip to the Grand Canyon with Sheldon was unforgettable. He was an absolute joy to spend the day with. We saw 7 different views of the canyon and left with tons of new knowledge about the area. Sheldon kept our attention and the attention of our almost 6 year old daughter all day! It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful views, not too much walking. Scott was a great tour guide and new just how much info to give us without being overwhelming. His experience as a truck driver made me feel safe--excellent driving. He kept us away from crowded spots as best he could, and gave us options and ample time (within reason) to enjoy our stops. Highly recommend this tour especially if you want great photos and minimal walking.
Great experience
